Agencies, Gals and Turnover

Ok. I am unwinding one evening and decided I should try out a new gal in the hopes of adding a new gal to my regular rotation. One gal that seemed to have a good reputation among pooners is Abby from E&R. Been avoiding E&R for a while as I have been finding their location to be dumpy and not having had much exceptional service from the gals. So I call and ask if Abby is available and get a long winded spiel about her not working there anymore because of x, y, z. I thought this was totally unprofessional and just reinforced my opinion that E&R needs to do a lot more to ever attract any of my business. Does anyone know if Abby is working on her own or has joined a diff agency?

On the same night, I also called IB recently to inquire if Pandora was available that evening. I had to press the phone girl a few times about when she was available until she finally mentioned she didn't work there anymore. While they didn't diss or slag Pandora they clearly were trying to hide the fact she no longer worked there and were trying to parlay her good rep into business for the other gals. I guess this happens but I guess I just had a bad night. Ended up phoning one of my regular gals and had a good end to my night. (BTW I have finally caught onto Pandora now being at VE).

Well, turnover is one thing. How agencies choose to handle it or respond to it is another matter entirely.

About the turnover in the industry..... It is increasingly hard to find a place to work where the girls are respectful to one another; the location is safe, discreet and well maintained; and where the gentlemen feel comfortable. It takes a hell of a lot of money to start an agency, and even more hard work to get it in shape for business. I could be wrong here, but I think alot of ladies in the biz are getting tired of having to deal with each other's drama; with not having an upscale location; and with the problems that can take place between the employer and the employee. I was at Seductions, and the boss made a schedule for me. Two years in the biz and I have always worked weekdays. She wanted me to work some night shift where I would be up 'till around 1 or 2 am. For me that's pulling teeth. I am usually asleep at eleven, midnight on an abnormally late night. (Feel free to crack jokes at my sleeping habits) That's one example of why a girl may shift around alot. You'll note that there have been alot more indys coming out lately. The whole agency scene is really hard to do. When you throw a bunch of girls in a situation together (sorry to say, guys, but the job is a stressful one.....even if you are a nice guy ^_^) and on top of that its a cash industry.....You're gonna have one hell of a reality TV show in the works. Cash makes people funny. For anyone who has worked in a cash industry, they will know exactly what I mean. And if you throw any group of people -same gender or mixed gender- you're gonna have problems. Due to our evolution as a society, we as humans feel the need to have some kind of heirarchy in state. We need to know our place in things. So you get the dominant girls (who more often than not aren't the most friendly) and you get everything else down to the omega. For those thinking "well why don't you just not involve yourself?".....I wish it were that easy. Its like when you're in school and there are the different cliques. They are all different, and you may not be a part of one, but it will affect you somehow in some form. Look at these things from a psychological standpoint. You would be amazed at how primitive human socital structure still is at its roots. As for the agency side of it..... Some agencies choose to say that the girl has left to work at another agency. Some say the girl is no longer working for them and leaves it at that. And some just say the girl has left the business. Well, that's my input on the subject.

ROOKIE !! BWHAHAHA!

Victoria's got a healthy mix of indies, agencies and streetwalkiers. Its all good because there's lots of choices for the consumer.

I wish more indies would put up webphotos though. I never go in blind anymore.

Hey everyone. Thanks for the feedback. I just wonder sometimes why agencies can't be a bit more upfront. If a gal has left, then just say so and then suggest who would make a good replacement rather than trying to ride on her coat tails or if she's left on bad terms don't go into details. For me, this is is a hobby I choose and I don't want to get drawn into the drama of the "business". I definitely find less drama in dealing with independents but not all gals are able to or want to set up their own business. It was interesting to read Pandora's comments about having her schedule set "for her". Suprising to hear that SU operates that way. With such a large portfolio of gals avaialbe I would think they'd be able to let the gals set their own hours in advance and pretty much have someone available at all times.
Thanks again!

Census keeper for Victoria.

Hipster how could you not know that Gina worked for 3 places? You are supposed to be the SP census keeper for Victoria. Too much pooning and not enough statistics. Were going to have to take away your job and give it to Maude. Someone who can stay sober. :)

How available are those agency girls?

“With such a large portfolio of gals avaialbe I would think they'd be able to let the gals set their own hours in advance and pretty much have someone available at all times.”

That is the key word “available”. The portfolio may be large, but it doesn’t seem to be that available, and thus the need for forced scheduling. I’m only speculating.

Charging mongers by the kilogram?

Gina Lee:
"Gents called & I asked if they were STD free, not too overweight & a hobbiest....oh what a laugh. I still did well, they answered the questions! "

Not too overweight?
Gina Lee did you switch from charging by the hour to charging by the kilogram? :) You would be rich. Or rich(er)
Or what about SPs that charge by the inch? 9.5 inch Superhero would have to get a second job. :p

No worries. Vicgfelover, because they have so many girls, they have to make the schedules for you so there is a healthy variety of SPs on every shift. And I agree perfectly with the not getting caught up in the drama part. Why else do you guys think I move around so much?? There was the same schedule problem with E+R. I wanted to work there last autumn to make a minor break from full service work. The reason I never worked there, is because tho owner told me the only shift she could have me work was the graveyard shift. Not likely for a gal who is practically comatic by midnight. So I go where I both have freedom to make my own schedule (which I am more likely to work than one that was forced down my throat) and where the girls are at least respectful enough to not be catty snobs to each other.
