BTW..the world's oldest profession existed long before leolist.

I hope you are keeping social distance at all times too, Mr noble one.

I wish the all participants in the market would just unilaterally cease at this time. Seen as they won’t, Internet advertising will keep some ladies off streets and out of cars so there’s some potential harm reduction right there.

There's nothing anyone can do to stop the spread of this virus completely. Even the media is admitting social distancing will only slow the spread to an extent. And it's going to be around for awhile.

Harm reduction is a much better approach. The industry needs to adapt to a resurgence in infectious diseases anyways. It's just the reality of the times we live in.

Let those who choose to work work. It is their decision. I am taking a break as many sp's are. Don't force them onto the street. That could make things worse.
Have you posted in all personal ad forums? ie Dating sites, hook up sites, fetlife, doublelist, Ashley Maddison, and craigslist types, etc? That is a government decision to shut things down. I bet some of the ladies who are still working are safer to be around than many peoples teens and college kids who think they are invinsible and hang out in groups to infect others later. Many sp's are moving to video sex chats etc as well Mr noble.

In a perfect world we could all isolate, follow the rules to a t, for whatever time it takes. But the reality is we dont live in a perfect world. I dont think that ladies who need to work to feed themselves should be shamed to the extent they are currently.

It's one thing to tell people they shouldn't get together to have a party, crowd on beaches, etc, Its an entirely different thing to tell SPs they cant even see a small number of clients so they can put food on their fucking tables.

But the brilliant gentlemen on this board tell me they all make $200-$300/hr and live lavishly and don't need our sympathy... ;)

The construction industry in Vancouver is still active at this time. Is this an essential service?

Everything shut down in Ontario but essential services which include (among others) liquor and weed stores.(and for-mentioned construction) Everyone has different idea's of what essential services are. Some don't the have the option of not working.

On that note we are shut down. I stopped seeing guests (new or previous) March 16. If one of the girls really wanted to work I would try my best to keep her safe and offer anything I could to protect her or preferably providing funding to help her get through these rough times for everyone.

Stay safe everyone and hope to see you in the future.

The list of "essential" services in Ontario is a mile and half long. Shut down is a misleading term for what's going on in Ontario.

It's extremely unfortunate with some exceptions most everyone is taking a financial hit during this time. Perhaps not those in the US who bought stock a few weeks ago and now have sold. I think the sad reality is many refuse to change their behavior and continue to live "normally" in their self-entitled, self-absorbed ways. Making concessions is not an option. This is the mindset I'm seeing with the COVIDIOTS and VIRUS REBELS. They know precisely what the risks are based on their age and health. 'Freedom' and maintaining their current lifestyle takes precedence over anything else.

I have to admit I was pooning as usually up until a little over a week ago and then I decided it was not worth it. I have to admit with all the restaurants closed and a lot of hotels and now almost every business I know shutting down for two weeks (except for things like food stores and drug stores) it does seem strange to see pooning continuing. I am especially surprised that LeoList has not shut down the escort area. I am even more surprised the government has not shut them down.

I hate to sound like a reformed smoker but it does seem to go against what almost everyone else is doing.

Also there may be a large backlash against prostitution if after this is over if the public starts to believe that prostitution behavior had a impact on spread of the virus. I used to think prostitution was well on its way to becoming accepted then the US clamped down hard on websites related to Escorts and now it is like going back to the 70's and 80's and it is becoming harder to find providers.

Don't think it cannot happen here all you need is to give the Religious Right a weapon to use to push their agenda!

It was international travel on airliners that caused the spread. Nothing else. Certainly not SPs in any material way.

Well, I for one want LL (and other personal services) to shut down, because as a healthy 30's guy who lives alone and doesn't know any at-risk people, I am absolutely petrified by this virus. And I didn't just see a regular the other day for a good banging.

And not all sex work involves intimacy either.
Exactly. I was in Edmonton a week ago, walked into Secret Spa on Whyte, picked a hot Caucasian and gave her a good pounding. No kissing (obviously), no massage, no cuddling, just a nice CBJ and standing doggy. Good non-intimate fun and I loved it. That spa is still open as we speak.
