Thread: Travel Restrictions?

    Travel Restrictions?

Canada Travel Advisory has said something along the lines of "no non-essential travel" o/s Canada.

I notice airlines to Asia,i.e. KAL,JAL,Cathay Pacific, etc. are all advertising...wondering who is flying?Ppl from those countries returning home?

I dunno if pooners are still heading to Asia?

I read today that Bangkok has closed bars, nightclubs, massage parlors, etc. at least temporarily.

Also, I read that Canadians returning from these spots are told to "self-isolate"
    Wondering how that is enforced?

And, ppl have to get from the airport to their homes?

Strange, and scary, times we live in.

I was supposed to do a big tour of Asia, including the Philippines, in May. I am on a Philippines board and there are currently no bars, gogos, KTVs etc open in Angeles or Manila(no mention of massage parlour closures.) Manila and Luzon Island also have enhanced quarantines, no domestic flights, some intercity highways are closed and starting March 20 until April 12, I think, no flights in or out of Manila. I’m postponing until fall at least. Only the expat guys who have nowhere else to go seem to be staying.

I wonder if the street walkers will still be out. They can't live for long & pay the rent on air alone.

Looking at ISG the other day it appeared that action was still on.

Some foreign countries are enforcing their own travel bans. Some are even enforcing complete border closures. It currently looks like someone I care about who went away on vacation before the corona-virus chaos began may be stranded indefinitely...

When you are dead, you do not know that you are dead.
It is the same way when you are stupid.

Well this sucks. I had already scheduled a rendezvous with a lovely lady in April. Looks like my money will have to stay in the US.

That’s international trade so the CBSA agents might let you in...

LOL... Thank you for the laugh. Me coming up to go to a strip club could also be considered international trade then? I've been denied entrance (mind you it was over 29 years ago) when I answered honestly why I was entering Canada from the US... "To go to a strip club."
