How many of you guys are still pooning given what’s going on with Covid19?
Pooning regularly or cut it back a lot?

Perhaps have a look around the site to see where you should be posting this - tons of threads on this in the lounge.
You're in the Escort Review forum.

I don't participate in this hobby very often, but I've been feeling like it recently. I'm just too worried about everyone's safety to meet up right now though. I'm genuinely concerned for the women working, but I also realize that this is their livelihood and they don't exactly get sick days. I wonder though, do agencies do anything to help out their employees during emergencies like this?

People on here may hate me for saying this, but rates should probably go up to compensate for the increased risk.

It's up to the girls to decide for themselves. Realistically it appears based on the current statistics, unless they are over 60 years old or have underlying health conditions, there is little risk to them personally. I think girls are fully capable of making their own decisions.

We're typically seeing older clients stay home and younger ones continue as normal, which matches the risk assessment and statistics.

Some girls are fine with it, and some especially those who visit older family often, are taking time off.

There is a lot of hype surrounding this issue. Based on what I could find, the listed average age of death is 80

Someone working the drivethrough window at Starbucks is arguably more at risk but the same applies.

Everyone is at risk of being infected. It's just that the elderly is more at risk of dying after contracting the virus.

I feel the same way about my health, the providers’ and the greater community. A well known SP who advertises here on PERB sent out a wide reaching offer of material support to ladies in the lower mainland the other day, and I imagine that some peers help each other out but I have no idea about agencies offering this type of support. I’ve slowed down to barely pooning, and have less desire to with each passing day, but will definitely tip more and would pay more within reason. While I sympathize with the affected ladies of the lower mainland, Im more concerned about the welfare of people in the developing world and feel better to be more charitable with those in more dire need.

I'm taking the same precautions as I have during any other cold and flu season - I don't see a girl that's coughing and sneezing; just as I don't go pooning when I'm clearly sick. Other than that, the only thing keeping me at home is if my wife is ordered to work from home by her company. Hard to sneak out mid-day then! lol

I like to think that the quality service providers are being responsible and taking the right precautions if they are unwell and that us, the customers, are doing the same thing....my experience with the girls I have seen have been that they are very clean, always make sure we are showered up and lathered up, providing mouthwash and washing us up after. I think the hobby is far cleaner and somewhat safer now than it was 10 years ago...just play smart and play safe like most of us do and we will all be ok

The problem with this virus is that there can be carriers who don't show any symptoms. Those are the ones who we need to worry about.

I've sworn off it until at least end of April. Precautions by SP's or not, just going anywhere to see anyone for any reason exposes you to other people.

If the National and Provincial health directors are all but demanding responsible social distancing and self quarantine if being around those who might be carriers how do individuals go to random locations where anybody could have been there within the last number of hours and then transfer the virus directly airborne or through the actual SP especially given the close “proximity” that this encounter lends itself to. Why not be a healthy positive contributor to society and hold your horses until the peak has flattened. BM

Girls from a few agencies have told me that their business have drop off quite a bit lately so this is definitely having an effect on business.

One of my favorites is retiring in a month, and it's probably not a good idea to see anyone in that timeframe, so I could miss out on seeing her again forever. My big head and little head are fighting over it.

I think like most businesses the escort/massage business will be hurt big time due to this.
For myself personally I’m a healthy adult in my late 30’s and don’t have any elderly family members close to me as they’ve all passed away the last couple years. “From what I’ve also read” my kids are also at an age where they won’t be majorly affected by this illness. In my immediate circle I’m not worried!

What has me worried is the shear fucking panic/stupidity society is in right now! Panic buying everything on the fucking shelves, buying up dust masks that would otherwise be needed by construction guys or people in the healthcare sector(surgical masks), etc! From the sounds of it my kids won’t be going back to school for a long time, and everything is shutting down. Going to have bored kids and an even more miserable ex-wife for the foreseeable future!
I personally think how society is reacting to this bullshit is a lot worse than the virus itself!

Would I poon? Not sure as I imagine girls are taking extra precautions be it working independently or at a spa and I’m sure service levels(rightfully so) will go down big time, just due to the anxiety around this!

agree 100% with you on the panic buying and any individuals who might overreact. as far as the virus and the decisions to try to ABRUPTLY stop/flatten its spread. no decision is too fast or extreme. it must be curtailed immediately, that is the only way you get ahead of this. our grandparents and great grandfathers were asked to go to war, they went, asking us to sit on a sofa for a few weeks to months is barely an inconvenience.

I’m also doing my part, extra hand washing etc. I’m also not panic buying everything off the fucking shelves while watching these morons do just that. Meanwhile our elderly citizens are suffering because of this bullshit!
I just hope karma kicks the shit out of these assholes hoarding stuff/trying to turn a profit on various items!

I don't do it often, but I would still do it as long as the provider is smart about staying healthy. 1 on 1 situations aren't really an issue in this situation. It's more about avoiding crowds for me.

Previously, the government had*advised Canadians to avoid all international travel. Dr. Theresa Tam, Canada's chief public health officer, cautioned that people who do travel abroad could get caught up in a quarantine or travel bans imposed by the countries they visit.

Tam, who has reiterated throughout the outbreak the importance of protective measures like proper hand hygiene and staying home while sick, said Friday that people in Canada should take extra steps to stay safe, including measures like social distancing.

"This means avoiding crowded places and non-essential gatherings, considering shopping or taking public transport in off-peak hours and greeting one another with a wave or elbow instead of a handshake, kiss or hug."

I think if handshake, kisses and hugs are off the table, so is having sex with someone who isn't self isolating with you.
