Total Money Spent on this Hobby?

I am just curious for those that have been doing this for some time, how much you estimate you have spent on this hobby? A few thousand, tens of thousands, more?

I'd really have to crunch some numbers. It would take me days to come up with numbers, considering how long I've been doing this. And...back in the day there was hours and hour spent cruising the streets before everything turned indoors and online. Sometimes it would take 4 hours of cruising to find the right girl. That's a lot of gas and mileage. And the time spent looking through the Buy n'sell (before the web), the Westender, and Georgia Straight. Even the Province had ads.

Recently passed $10k for donations, tips and gifts in town, coming up on my first year. Probably another $15k on donations, tips and extra expenses on side/primary pooning vacations in the last two years and a bit. I never spent any time cruising the SW scene but I definitely checked out those classified ads a few times, way before I had the money or inclination to act. I lurked PERB, LL and Latin American/Southeast Asian boards for a few years before my first session. I probably should invest more in my future but I’ve got a decent pension and own my condo. Plus I didn’t travel or get much action in my 20s, early 30s so I’m playing catch-up lol. This topic seems like it should be in The Lounge.

I have spent at least $30k at one establishment since 2013. It was the only place I went and I stopped going but the odd time I pop in now.

You need a trip to Colombia and Brazil

If you lurked those boards , it's a must go . Girls in Colombia were so cheap and sexy .

Round 2 of Philippines is this spring but on a recent trip to Mexico I vowed to myself to try Colombia or DR instead of returning to Mexico as it’s getting repetitive. The ladies are hot enough but it’s definitely pricey on the coasts and yeah I’ve read the Colombianas are more down for GFE/less transactional service. Brazil is so damn far and a bit crazy, and I speak zero Portuguese but damn the ladies!! I have a few friends there which is fun and useful when family and friends ask about the trip too lol.

I figure from guys I have known who have got divorced and burned for 400-500k to an ex wife they are still worse off. They got to bang one woman for 10 years at that rate. I could bang a different chick every day for 10 years and still be ahead by not getting hitched to one woman. This system is a good deal.

Not in a million years did I ever know one day I'd think of the carbon footprint of "finding the right girl"!

All I need to know is:

1) it fulfills and imperative in life that I need
2) it puts a smile on my face and a spring in my step
3) it is more flexible and way less expensive than marriage/divorce

Ive been doing this for 20 years.
I have been keeping an exact account of expenses for the last 4 years.
Based on that, I would say that I am in the neighborhood of 80,000 total over 20 years.
I'll probably quadruple that amount over the next 20 years.
Worth it.

Nice, that's a down payment on a condo in Whistler. I always think of things like that, but never regret the time or money spent. We only go around this merry-go-round once..

I guess I will have to spend some time and do some math, since I started this thread. I've been doing this since 1994. I am afraid of the total. Maybe a mansion in Whistler?

I like most don’t know the exact number but there was awhile I’d say I was spending 400 a month. I felt I was spending to much so I went back to getting laid for free although it’s not really free when you consider the time put into making a hook up happen

A lot. Not sure how much total. My budget is up to $500/month. Definitely worth it. Would rather spend money on this than say luxury Mercedes or Whistler condo.

However, this hobby is definitely highly addictive, so important to keep spending under control.
