    Sexy local vacation spots.

Unsure if this belongs in the lounge or not.
Looking to sneak away for a weekend with a special lady friend, surprise her at Christmas time and go sometime in January.
Now before y’all go judging me for pointing this “friend” of mine and myself have an open casual relationship lol!
Definitely looking for a place where we’ll be having plenty of romantic sex, but also a place with good day hikes and activities too!
Either on the mainland close to vancouver or even the island/Sunshine Coast.
Place with rooms made for naughty time, big soaker tub, mirrors, fireplace and a big fluffy feather bed(or perhaps a waterbed if it exists lol)would be nice too.
Quiet, upscale and clean a must.
Prefer more of a B and B type place with limited guests, as opposed to a big hotel.

    Thanks everyone!

Private cabin in Tofino that's part of a larger hotel. You can have all the amenities of the hotel, but also the privacy of your own little cabin with a fireplace and private outdoor hot tub for storm watching Lots of great hikes nearby too.

I agree with Tofino. Splurge and stay at the Wickaninnish Inn. https://www.wickinn.com/
It's a great drive, you have Ucluelet, nice trails there, and Long Beach as well.
Give yourself 3 days. It'll be great. Storm watching is awesome.

Torino is a great idea. Also consider a B&B on SaltsSpring Island. Lots of cool little shops, art galleries and restaraunts. Drive up Mount Maxwell for a stunning view if the weather cooperates.

I was going to recommend exactly the same if your budget can afford it.

Have you considered any of the Gulf Islands? This time of year you could have one of those waterfront homes you see from the ferry for $$$/n (I had to lol) But seriously, Salt Spring will probably have more things to do whereas Pender, Mayne and Galiano will have the best value for money and seclusion factor. They’re only a few hours from here too. I’ve never done Salt Spring in the winter, but I’ve spent a few nice weekends on Pender and Quadra Islands this time of year. Hard to beat a view of Active Pass from the hot tub with logs crackling in the fire pit, and the only signs of civilization are the ferries’ lights and whistles every hour or two.

When in Tofino, take the boat to Hot Springs Cove, which is clothing optional (the hot springs, not the boat ride).

Whitehorse, Yukon is really charming place. Don't expect to party but loads of hiking trails for backpackers off the north side of town behind the hospital. Lucky enough to go twice early summers before the Greyhound bus quit running. Awesome with the daylight all the way to the 3 A.M. arrival.

Now that sounds like something up my alley. I love it when I can save some weight and space by leaving my bathing suite at home. Checking it out as I type lol.

Riza - with that atitude I somehow doubt that your bathing suit takes up either much weight or space lol.

True. I went to an adult only resort in Jamica which was mostly clothes optional (manditory in the dinning room, not sure why ) Was lots of fun and only needed carry on luggage. Big bonus was Hedonism 2 was just across the road. Spent a few interesting evenings visiting that venue.

I’ve been to the Rockwater resort in Secret Cove a few times. They have luxury tent suites on the hillside overlooking the Straights. These are not roughing it kind of tents at all. Big comfortable bed, huge soaker tub for two and even on a cold night are really quite warm. They do room service to your tent and each time, the food has been quite good.

If you want a cool place to stay with all the privacy you need, this is a great spot.

Tigh-Na-Mara in Parksville is a lot shorter driver then Tofino beautiful condos with fireplaces overlooking the beach. It also has a nice restaurant and a huge spa. Also been a go to spot with someone special.

I agree with Bad Boy....Rockwater Resort is amazing, private, sexy and only a 20 minute ferry ride to the Coast. It is such a unique accommodation that it will impress even seasoned travellers. I have fond memories of my time spent there 😉
