I saw my first sp today and I was surprised that the shower was part of the booked time.

My sp did not force me to take a shower, and I did take a shower before my visit, but I wanted to proof that I was clean. She did mention that if I didn't take a shower, I could take a shower.

So, I spent about 7 minutes taking a shower before meeting the sp and when I went into the room, she told me that I should hurry up because she has others to see and I was using up my booked time of 30 minutes.

The whole situation felt a little rushed because she was already 10 minutes late for my appointment, but she was apologetic about it.

She said that she would add a few minutes at the end because I didn't know the shower time was part of the booked time, but I didn't need to....

I spent less than 7 minutes with the sp because I didn't want her to fall behind her schedule.

Is it the norm that the shower time is part of your total booked time?

I've heard this story before and I keep bringing up the same point. Aren't the best sessions where everyone is happy and focused? I know if I was going to go down on someone, I would hope that they are smelling clean. We have all been there where our partner smells like they bathing in garbage and it is the only thing you can focus on.

If you are focusing on the dollar amount, I would rather 23-25 minutes of both parties happy to be there, rather than one focused on "ah fuck! Wish he washed his butt crack"

I remember, when I first started, being concerned about losing out on the shower time($300/h carry the 3...$35 for a shower?). As it was mentioned above, we’re best off to do the deep cleaning, clipping, flossing shaving whatever at home/the gym and a quick refresher upon arrival. I usually spend upwards of an hour on this before I head out and it contributes to my confidence as well. I want to look, feel and smell my best. You’ll stop thinking about it and book/prepare accordingly after your first session.
Have fun!

Did you just take my response and articulate it better!? You're not allowed to borrow my Legos anymore!

Great advice for n00bs and anyone else who is annoyed by this very point.

Thank you.

If I did, I did so in an obliviously psychic state. I hadn’t read it yet, but yeah what we said!

In metro Vancouver it's very common for SPs to share workspaces. And we pay for the time we book the incall for. It's important to stay on schedule, out of respect for the other SPs we work with and the incall owners. So of course the shower time comes out of the session time.

It shouldn't take a man long to shower anyways. A few minutes should be sufficient. You guys aren't in there shaving your legs or deep conditioning your hair...

I tend to spend a bit of time in the shower even though I’m a man!
I work in construction so I tend to get a little sweaty/dirty. Especially in the summer where I’m outside not being in an air conditioned office!
Haven’t had an SP complain about my cleanliness yet since I scrub myself well in the shower!

A good scrub and friendly chit chat is a good start to any date (over an hr, I can’t comment on 15 or 30min dates) both would be included in the allotted time of course...

Seriously folks? The only question the OP asked was is shower time included with the booked scheduled time. And then people chime in with how clean they are and do their clipping and grooming and whatever and how considerate they are and how it boosts their confidence and no one likes a smelly butt crack and ...

The answer to the question is yes unless the ad says otherwise. I have seen the occasional ad that says shower time not included

Further to the humans above,

Let’s call showers a respect ritual like putting the money down upon entry: it may not technically be necessary but it goes with the flow and ensures the happiest course of events possible during your session. Sex workers, as a rule, hate surprises (save for gifts, tips, and consumables), and they make them think you’re about to stuff them into the trunk of a car. The more you can do to put them at ease and ensure them that you’re good people, safe, and reliable, the better your session, reviews and experiences in the future are. You better bet that “he did/didn’t take a shower” is one of the topics discussed during a reference conversation. Do a deep cleaning before you arrive, take a double-check reshower while you’re there, and ensure happiness for everyone.

If you’re extra cost-benefit worried about the time spent taking a shower, ask very, very nicely if there’s room in the schedule for you to take a shower while you’re there. Do not negotiate on rates, saying “but I’ll be in the shower for ten minutes for you, darling” but maybe, maybe, casually mention that you’d like to make sure you’re at your peak cleanliness and would like to take a few minutes to scrub up before you get into, uh, surgery. Most reputable SPs will say, that’s fine, and, as you’ve already experienced, will allowed a little extra wiggle room on the schedule if you’re hella clean and you asked in advance. This is not extra pooning time. Please honour the grace she’s provided you and respect that she loves you that much.

And say thank you. Your mother, while not thrilled that you’re hanging out with hookers, would be proud to know that you’re using very good manners.

if i am leaving from home i will shower first there and have a quick rinse at establishment and soap the perticular area of the crotch etc...if coming from work I do under arms and crotch as well as before i go in I have breath mint gum etc and I have a small airplane size bottle of Listerine moments before I enter...hate the thought that I may smell and turn her off or ruin the experience

expect to always shower. Whether you shower beforehand or not, always expect to shower as part of your time. Most of the time the SPs help you shower and clean you off while touching your junk and making sure its clean down there. She's not going to do that for free.

Especially in the summer where I’m outside not being in an air conditioned office!

But I would just like to point out that just because you are sitting at your desk all day, not doing physical activity, it does not make you "clean".
I work independently and I do not share my incall and shower time does not come out of session time .

I understand though if you want to do that so men don't a) take advantage of shower time, or b)jack off in the shower. Like Miss Hunter said you only need a few minutes.
