I remember the good old days when we could enjoy each holiday exclusively. It was understood that November 1st was actually the first day of the longest commercial "holiday".
I guess with the majority of trick or treating occurring in shopping malls (if at all) , Halloween isn't a profitable focus. I have been flooded with spammy emails for boxing day sales even! New movies out already featuring elves!
It is a proven fact that suicide rates skyrocket due to "Christmas Blues" .
There should be some sort of regulations and/or limitations.
If it is not politically correct to publicly celebrate the Christian holiday, why is it ok for commercial enterprises to cram it down our throats?
