What are your top Life Hacks?

eg1: I shake the fuck out of my cheap ass coffe grinder while it is grinding. Gives me a good consistent grind at a fraction of the cost of an expensive burr grinder.

eg2: My phone reminds me to make sure I have paid off my Visa balance at the end of every month. Saved me a bundle in interest charges.

Bring ‘em on!

I don't drink coffee and I have "autopay" on my credit card. Entire balance is paid off, interest free every month. I don't get a statement. I can take a vacation at anytime of the month or longer and my hydro payment gets paid off that way too.

I try to keep the fan off while masturbating in bed. I always masturbate while laying on my back and a with a tissue paper spread just around my navel area to catch the lava. If the fan is running, the paper sometimes gets blown away at the wrong time. I love cumming, but I hate my cum.

I keep a bottle of vodka in my car trunk because they don't serve alcohol at Paramount in New Westminster.

I will chime in more later ... Great thread btw.

I don't spend hundreds of dollars taking women out for dinners, concerts, etc in the hope of getting lucky. Instead I find someone that I find attractive on LeoList and for as little as $150 I'm guaranteed to get lucky! Best life hack there is! You should try it op :)

Oooh Jim, that’s a good one. That will definately increase my Lucky factor. Who knows, somebody might some day figure out it’s a good idea to check their PERB reviews before calling them up too!

Thanks!

When a bar of soap is nearly done and too small to use, stick it to the new bar of soap while they're still both wet. They fuse together into one bar as they dry. No waste.

I buy two phone chargers. One for at home and one for on the go, as well as an external battery pack. I will never let my phone die.

If you intentionally over order at a restaurant, make sure to only eat half of whats there so you can have a second meal later.

First thing I do after waking up is to take 30 deep breaths - shakes out the cobwebs from the brain. If I get a little light-headed, then all the better. Followed by a quick gratitude and compassion meditation - say about 3 minutes. Another 30 deep breaths - don't let the attention wander, and it's a great start for the day. Then a quick 7 minute workout.

Beats the snooze button any day!

I don’t want to get too esoteric, but a valuable “hack” that I learned in my 40s was to forgive those whom I thought crossed me (there’s always 2 sides to a conflict) and moved on. So much of our misery is based on jealousy, anger and revenge. It may have cost me a few bucks or the satisfaction of proving I’m right, but the exchange rate for peace of mind is well worth it. I know I am much happier for letting go. Can’t put a price on that.

I agree with Vincent on this one. Hatred, jealousy, resentment - they all take way too much energy.

In the moment it’s easy to get sucked down that vortex of being right or getting even.

Stepping back, doing a self assessment and sticking to being neutral can give you more peace of mind. It’s the only way to move on from those negative situations.

Great hack :thumb:

I heard an SP suggest something similar. She said, "if your tool is too small stick it to another guy's ... while they are both wet , they fuse together... "

Nah!! I'll pass. I am ok with my soap, I mean my junior being too small (to use).

I like to save the little blobs of toothpaste that end up in the sink. Once they are dried out I use them as after dinner mints when my in laws visit.

I don’t have any special tricks but maybe this article will be useful to someone, check here. It talks about several ways to find a girl for a single guy (regular girl). It seems to me that a permanent relationship is needed only by either very young people or those who have already left 45. At least, these are the ones who constantly talk about relationships. Have you come across this?
This is PERB, not Christian Mingle.
