nothings wrong with that... its the constant boom/bust economy, and the continuous sucking up to one single industry that... must suck.

Alberta's bane is they elected a slow manbaby premier who is going to spend the next 4 years shitting this crap, rather than dealing with the province's real problem, which is low worldwide energy prices.

There is no catalyst on the horizon that would cause crude prices to return to where they were 6 or 7 years ago. It's a stupid province that fails to face reality.

I will take Jason Kenny over Rachel Notley any day. When it comes down to it the price of oil is not the problem it is lack of pipelines. It does not help either that Canadian special interest groups take money from US special interest groups
such as the TIDES Foundation to basically work against the development of Canada's oil & gas sector.I consider those people traitors. All money from all resource extraction across Canada flows to Ottawa and then to the Provinces.

Back when the energy royalty cheques were sent out (AKA Ralph Bucks) they were sent from Ottawa not Edmonton.

Next time you see a protest in Vancouver over the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion, ask yourself if that freak with the purple hair who so wants to "save the environment" is being paid to be there with funds from the USA chanelled
into Canada.

Surprised the drone strike on the Saudi refinery had so little effect on the market.
The repairs may take weeks or months and that refinery processes a large portion of their oil.
Even worse, now that the Houthis have done it successfully, they will be doing it again.

The US is fracking so much they can become a net exporter. So much for that market.

Back to the OP, good thing Kenney gave his pals that 4.5 billion tax cut, how many jobs did that create?

Kenney hates foreign organisations so much he is spending millions investigating them. But he is also hiring a foreign contractor to change AB school curriculum. Kenney is such a liar he keeps contradicting himself.

we don't need 100 oil

we just need to get what we produce to tide water, not having to just sell to the US

we need to stop over paying our gov't employees

Notley hired in just 4 yrs enough gov't employees to go from 20 to almost 25% of population working for the provincial gov't

even with the price since 14, we still could balance the budget, pay for things, if we had an ADULT in power

if you went back to the drunk demented Klein, balless Stelmach, Liberal Redford, we could have too

if they would have just kept spending to pop increase + inflation, we'd have had balanced budgets for the last 15yrs even through all the ups and downs

you delusional commies need to look at reality

you want May's green economy, bring it on, now, not in 11yrs, now

let's see how you delusional green types cope

we'll stop Alberta's oil/gas, from leaving the province, anywhere, even the US

Canada will go into a recession, depression, your economy, BC's, I'm assuming most of you are from there, will collapse

you will need to bring in oil by the tanker, there goes the poor 12 Orcas

even with the rest of Canada fucking us in the ass, we're still sending around 20 billion to Ottawa

that's gone

now lets talk about all the work for Easterners, not to mention Northern BC residents, who rely on oil spin offs

so bring on that oil/carbon free world now, do it, do it now, we'll be fine

it might hurt us in Alberta for 6 months, till you're back here sucking our cocks looking for some oil/gas

our MONEY

take us out of the CCP too, watch your rates rise

all we need is someone with balls

hopefully Kenney will grow some if Turdeau is re-elected, even with a minority propped up by either of the

even farther left wing commies

you guys clearly don't understand what the oil and gas sector means to the overall Canadian economy

so bring it on, stop the carbon, do it, vote green

some posters fail to see the original point... that Jason is an oil puppet. everyone is into free money pumped from the ground! as i've posted many times, as far as i'm concerned... nationalize the stuff, get billions instead of pennies flowing into public coffers, and you will see pipelines all over the place.

but don't suck oil companies dicks! they aren't in it for the people of Alberta or the people of Canada! they work very hard to warp our economy and politics to their own good.

there is a glut of oil about and demand is dropping! make some fuckin plans instead of deciding what big oil says is some message from god!

I lived in Calgary for a few years, and have also lived (or been posted) in most other provinces. Most Albertans were exactly the same as people everywhere else in Canada.

The oil fanatics are a noisy and demented minority that get all the press attention. They have the same self assurance and cognitive dissonance that Trump MAGATS have. Many of them could be case studies for PhD papers.
