I would like to bring a bottle of wine as a housewarming gift.

Any recommendations? Red or White? Budget around $50. To be honest I am not sure they care about quality. They're more of the quantity type couple.

Thanks.

How many boxes of Carbordeux can you get for $50. :p

If it were for me, I'd like an Oregonian Pinot Noir.

Domaine Droughin Dundee Hills 2015

$50 at LCB

Honestly, price has little correlation with value or quality. I've been more thoroughly impressed by $15 Jackson Triggs and Mission HIll than $10,000 Romanee Conti.

Pick up whatever looks good in a bottle in the price range you want. Most people won't and can't tell the difference.

I like rose wine. My favorite is actually $10 for a small bottle every time I try different more expensive ones I usually regret it and wish I had gotten the peller estates rose. A big bottle is $20. Or a sparkling wine is a nice looking house warming gift.

I love anything from Mission Hill Family Estate. In that price range, I’d recommend Painted Rock, Burrowing Owl or Apothic Red :)
Apothic is not even real wine. It's blended with grape juice with a shitload of sugar. Stick to the Burrowing Owl.

Beaulieu Vineyards out of Napa Valley makes a stunning Cabernet Sauvignon for $45. Available at the BC LDB.

100% agree with all of this- especially the Apothic. 200,000 cases and every bottle tastes EXACTLY the same, year after year. Dreck.
Knock their socks off with a bottle of Astract from Orin Swift- exceptional red blend out of California from the original maker of The Prisoner.

On a funny note, I learned a new word yesterday "Gewurztraminer". (I am seeing an SP soon who prefers it.) I honestly thought it was a typo or auto correct messing up her message. Then I thought it was a dog breed.

Heck, I am not a wine guy and I am scared to even to go wine section of BCLC stores and look for a bottle with this .... word on it..........!!! Wish me luck!
I can bark out Grey Goose, Russian Standard, Smiranoff, Crown Royal 15 times in the amount of time it is going to take me to say this G word.

Whenever I need to get wine for a session, I walk straight to sign saying New Zealand and grab a bottle of Oyster Bay (Thank you Amber Marie :) )

Who is she? She has the best taste in the world!
By the way, Louis XIV of France thought that Gewurztraminer was curing erectile dysfunction.

Don't be scared - live dangerously! Go buy a Gewurtz, she will be thrilled and you will be a hero before the door is closed. The best comes from Alsace (been there) and you will find it in the 'France' section of BC Liquor stores. Look for the tall, thin, green bottle. Could be a bit pricey. Different parts of the world grow the same grape but it never comes out tasting the same.

Two recommendations:

Joel Gott 815 Cabernet Sauvignon - Nice full bodies California red that retails for about $30
Napa Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon - Similar to the Joel Gott, but not quite as heavy and retails for about $35

Vancouver Escorts
