Wondering who here owns a vehicle, or leases, or doesn't own a vehicle at all?

If you own or lease, what do you have?

I drive 12-year-old Civic that is very reliable.

I used to have a 2005(.. or was it 07??) Pontiac wave.. I named her Venice.. she wasn't the best, but she was something nonetheless. Asides from some minor oil troubles and a deflated tire she was pretty good. Got me where I needed to be and did alright on gas.. (keep in mind I only had my L... even after I lost her)

Unfortunately I had to part with her after my driving privileges were taken away.. luckily not in her, but a rental car I stole from buddy in Regina.. that one was a newer Nissan, slick black, nice leather seats and good AC... too bad it became it write-off and now I'm in some shit with SGI... needless to say I never (and probably will never) got my N...

17-year-old 4x4 Chevy pickup. Bought it for $5,000 cash a few years ago. Good truck. Carries me, my SO, the dog, and our junk where we need to go, on highways or two-track dirt trails. Runs nicely, has the luxury and convenience features that were available in 2002, and they all work. I'm hoping I won't ever need to replace it, but I do worry that the greens will find a way to make internal-combustion-engine vehicles illegal and force me to take it off the road before I'm ready to give it up.

Half payed off newer Japanese sedan, reliable under warranty etc. My vehicle is integral to pooning, although I don’t actually use it for action. It’s stocked like a first rate incall(mouthwash, toiletries, towels, extra clothes etc.) I’m fortunate enough to have access to private shower-change rooms in downtown, Burnaby, and Surrey so I can make contact, book and be at an in call fresh, clipped, shaved anywhere in the lower mainland within an hour and a half(traffic permitting.) I only get to do this twice a week at the most, but I’m always ready to go in an hour’s notice lol

I am not a car enthusiast. I want a vehicle not because it is a classic or a collectors item. I want a vehicle that lasts me 10-12 years without major hassle.

I am a Japanese car guy though. You would have a hard time convincing me to buy anything (esp American) but a Toyoto or a Honda. I have two Hondas and I love them both. One of them is about 13 years old and I am going to replace it with another (surprise surprise) mid size Honda or a Toyota. I LOVE what they did to new Civic but I want a hybrid this time and the research is on.

Kamloops B.C.
3 Dodge Ram Cummins diesels, of various years....one GMC diesel.
All haul stock, and get me where I want to go...I also have a 87 bush truck that isn't registered to go into the high country.
It has a few bullet holes in the body, and some major bush rash...it's a mountain goat when it comes to washed out stream beds, and fits a cord of wood on its steel flat deck.
The GM has had the least problems, but doesn't have the clearance for the bush, so I guess I'm far easier on it than the Dodges.
For the record.....never buy a used truck from me...I shitkick them into worthless submission.

I have a small car collection but think I'm at the point to start selling it off. Some of the cars rarely if ever get driven, still cost money every year, and take up a lot of space. My daily driver changes every few years but is has always been some type of Japanese vehicle for the last 20+ years. For me I really don't think the build quality can be beaten.

a car isn't an appliance for me...if I'm going to spend time doing something/anything, I will certain take strides in making that endeavor enjoyable. My preference is for a German, naturally aspirated V8 backed by a 6-speed manual (both my current dailies..one being a wagon and all-wheel-drive...guess that riddle). With the right road (US highway 20) music, (Red Barchetta) and co-pilot (sexy dark-haired girl)...

I don't think I have much to worry about. Counting the trucks in your post, my guess is you never sell any of them.

Nice ride!

I prefer 4 cylinder turbo charged vehicles. Latest one is 6 speed manual AWD and it's a fun ride.

Daily driver is a 2012 F-150. I blew a head gasket last year and had to replace the engine. Pissed me off, only 77000 kliks when that happened. Weekend driver is a 72 Dodge Demon 340 4 speed. I bought her in 1983, she was the first car I ever owned. I lost my virginity in that car lol. She's up on blocks right now getting $9000 worth of suspension upgrades. Those old muscle cars went like stink but handled like shit.

I have three vehicles which I use quite regularly. My daily driver is a leased new suv that guzzles fuel but goes like stink. It has every available option and drives quite nice. I own a souped up diesel one ton truck that I use anytime I need to either tow or carry stuff and then I also have a bush buggy that I built for off roading.
I love driving and want to do so comfortably.

My 1st car was a '69 340 Dart GTS (alas w/a torqueflite) Reilly Motorsports makes a disc/coil-over K-member that eliminates those awful torsion bars (https://www.reillymotorsports.com/?target=product&product_id=16247) they also have a 4-link rear. I put a Gen-III hemi/Tremec 6-Speed in a '68 Dart Convertible and used both front and rear suspension from them...unbelievable handling

2007 Silverado 1500.
Bone stock, gets the job done.
Been contemplating a new truck the last few years but keep telling myself “next year”
I’m intrigued by all this talk regarding EV trucks. Would be nice saving money at the pump for other things.
If Ford doesn’t release the F150 Hybrid I’ll probably pick up a new Silverado or Sierra next year at this time!
The GM incentives right now are really good!

With all those Fords, your accountant must have an aneurism at tax time going through your repair bills....but hey, you can always write off parts.
