Nobody died while I was driving today. It could have turned out very badly.

I was turning into a lane this morning. Turn indicator was on and I was travelling quite slow.

Then a flash in front of my eyes as a female skateboarder zipped past my front bumper. I jumped on my brakes and she made a fast 45 degree turn to avoid collision ending up against a fence.

I wasn't angry, just totally relieved she wasn't hurt. Clearly she was grooving to the tunes with her Beats and not paying attention. I said 'you nearly gave me a heart attack and she said I am so sorry'.

It doesn't get any closer than this one.

Another traffic post: 8am, driving in center lane of eight lane avenue and a pedestrian walking on the median with his back to me steps off and into the lane. I slammed on the brakes just in time. He looks over his shoulder past me at traffic and I guess he was trying to catch a bus because he tried running over to the sidewalk dodging through three lanes of cars going 60-80km/hr. This was a guy in his fifties, not some kid on a cellphone.

4pm: metrosexual twat coming out of Home Depot tries to cut into traffic. Nobody lets him in. Light changes and a bunch of cars heads at him so he backs into the store lot. Right into a contractor's brand new big F250. Pro tip:when backing up, look where you are going.

Less than 5 minutes later, another idiot pulls out of parking lot trying to beat oncoming traffic. A Ford Explorer screeches to a stop to avoid hitting him. Ford is annoyed and honks, idiot gives him the finger. Surprise! Ford turns on blue and red lights. You could tell the cop was pissed too LOL, that made my day.

Can't fathom that the guy in the youtube video is one of your fave reviewers and at the same time you think that his collection is sick and disgusting.

Why be douchy about it?The guy has put up tons of reviews that are good/accurate and in general spot on.With regards to his collection IMO I would say he has enough of one between loose complete figures and vehicles and MOC/MISB of the same that if sold he could most likely buy a house in Calgary for.Toys and collectibles are funny thing and run the gamut of the stock market.

One collector of note was the original lead singer for the band STYX.He was not a womanizer or a drug abuser or a drinker. He was though a toy collector. When he snuffed it and the authorities went through his L.A home they found it stuffed to the rafters with toys.Mint boxed stuff as well as loose toys. From Star Wars to GI Joe to Transformers. All told the collection was worth millions of dollars.

Seeing that my bank card had a debit of $96 for a case of beer I bought at a govt liquor store. I phoned them and asked how could I pay 96 bucks for a $39 case of beer, she responded "Did you opt for Cash Back?". I told her "you just made my day" forgot they had that option first time I ever used it!
