Anyone who gets out of their car does so at their own peril. His day will come.
There was a video briefly on youtube of a very big, overconfident guy getting beaten to death by two smaller guys who were very good streetfighters.
Even if you are in the right, the person in the car may be scared enough to pull a gun.
Stay in your car, bite your tongue and go.

I forgot that littering is a crime as well... So that's two.

I understand it's not for everyone in such a situation but social pressure does have an effect. That women should have simply let him know that littering was a crime and that she had his licence number and left the conversation at that... Or for him to continue to dig his grave on his own. And then called it in to the police later re the two crimes, the license number and the fact that the perpetrator was documenting with his phone.

Don't litter please - you never know who is following you.

On tonight's CHEX news there was an item about someone discarding a cigarette butt out of his vehicle window. The vehicle behind was driven by the Victoria Chief of Police, who was not tolerant of the action. He wrote a ticket, which was good for a substantial fine. This apparently was the second such ticket the Chief issued in the recent past.

There is a substantial portion of humanity that doesn't give a shit about societal norms or doing the right thing for anyone except themselves. And then there's a large sub-culture that considers any insult a "disrespect" worth fighting or killing over. There is a large overlap between these groups.
