Not trying to stir the pot and I haven't spent much time on TRYST but, does it compete with Perb in the advertising dept, or is it more in tune with L.L? How does it differ from Perb other than PERB having a lounge and review section.?

Can't agree more. Leolist is on it's way to being the next Backpage unless something drastically changes.I heard they raised their prices the day backpage went down and then raised their prices again. Offering $100 towards buying OUR product seems slimy to me. They have a virtual monopoly and by raising their prices continually they will force a lot of ladies out on the street. I understand its capitalism but I get the impression LL doesn't give a sh*t its clients.
Already so watered down with bullshit. Need to do my homework more than ever when it comes to new faces. Can't agree more. Leolist is on it's way to being the next Backpage unless something drastically changes.
If you think they don't give a shit about their clients, how much of a shit do you think they give for their clients' clients (ie. US)?
thanks so much for that link, never knew about this.
Give this man a prize cause he speaking the truth. Verified dont necessarily mean good service or you wont get B&S at the location. Heck even if there was a location where girls had to be photographed say at LL HQ, she still could be a WOT.these days? sweet fuck all really...just as many scammers with "verified" pics as without
There's no other step & I hate taking photos that way. It really annoys me and kind of pisses me off. I'm not a slab of beef waiting to sold. Thats what it reminds me of. The petting zoo, farm house area at P.N.E. with all the cows lined up stamped and ready for market !!!I too wonder what "verified" means on LL. I don't really see how holding a scrap of paper with "Leolist" written on it makes a photo verifiable. Maybe LL takes some steps to ensure that the photo is for real, but I have no idea what those steps might be.
For my purposes, limiting my activities to women who have been reviewed on PERB works.
I can certainly see your point of view, about posing with a label as being kind of demeaning. From my perspective, seeing "verified" photos makes absolutely no difference to the choices I make. There's no other step & I hate taking photos that way. Holding up a piece of paper does Nothing to Verify you, and certianly doesn't mean that the person holding the paper is going to be the one to open the door. I find the process a bit degrading, and more often that not, will pay the extra money instead of using a verified add, to obtain the slight discount. Its not even that much of a discount, considering what the rates used to be to use that site, and what they are now. So I'd take this a possible reason as to why any given lady might not have a verified add as well.
I sent a message off to the Tryst people and heard back quickly. Seems they are getting lots of feedback from providers and want more from clients. It sounds like they have great plans for their service. Seems a shame their layout is so different from LL but that may just be a learning curve thing that you have whenever you use a new site.
I never heard of what happened to Eros. What was that exactly? Also in terms of ID and personal info. There is always going to be a level of that needed in all these sites, including bank and credit card info to pay for it. I worked at Rogers when I was new in this hobby, and most SP's were using Rogers and I knew that only cause I was able to recognize the prefixes in the numbers. As employees we had access to dates of birth, billing adresses (most times they were personal residence), as well as SIN. If I were wanted to curiously look up an SP's info I could have at the time, and there would have been no ramifications as Rogers never had a way of keeping record who looked at what customer's account. My understanding is that only Telus has a way of keeping of that. I always respected the privacy of SP' s and never looked at their accounts, but this reality is some level of your information is going to be known by a vendor you deal with, be it LL, Tryst, Perb, Rogers, Bell, Telus...etcI did the verification on LL and then a while later they asked for my ID. They claimed it was for age verification which which doesn't make sense because I've been advertising with them for multiple years and am in my late 20's. I wasn't comfortable giving it to them after the whole e*os thing. Even though they claim to use a secure third party system, once i looking into that company it seems LL still has access to all your info via them.
