Saw the documentary on the W5 investigation/reporting on the money laundering happening in BC.

What do you think of it?

The Liberals were money hungry and didnt care where it came from. Look at BC Hydro its in huge trouble because they have to pay the independant power producers exhorbitant rates 9 times Hydro's own cost for power production. Wonder who holds shares in IPP and thats on for the next 40 years.

Nothing less than confiscating the proceeds of the laundered cash, the launderers and beneficiaries documented and permanently banned from entering Canada, taken out to the airport with only the clothes on their backs and put on a plane back Guangzhou, China. where the fentanyl came.

Forfeiture of all the houses bought with the cash. For a start.

Too many people want a piece of that laundered cash.
Real estate agents selling over priced houses for bags of cash? They still get a percentage.
(My brother had two people come his door with a bag of cash and offer to buy his house. Seriously.)
Car dealers selling exotics.
Jewellers selling custom gang paraphenailia.

Horgan is gonna study it . . . . To Death.

Why did the Crown fold their case against the money launderers?

There's a big stink about this and heads should roll in BC Lotteries, non elected Govt Management and the Board of Directors for Lotteries. Larry Campbell is on the board and he literally runs away when he sees cameras when in the lobby of the Senate.
I'm betting it's very far reaching in the Liberals and all associated with Lotteries.

I watched the whole thing. Very informative. What I didn't like was that W5 almost seemed like they purposely didn't mention that the BC Liberals were in power at the time when all this happened. The only time where it was sorta mentioned was when they mentioned once the NDP got in power, they launched an investigation, but they didn't specifically call out the BC Liberals. It was always just "government" or "BC Government".

That's interesting about the BC Hydro statements. I think in another thread I said that the rates/amount of energy produced were under review in BC for homeowners. So in the future, to rip off BC hydro, just put in your house plans to have 4 or 5 rechargable cars (after all you are going to have kids that will want their own cars). In the meantime put up the extra solar panels and make enough money to send your kids to University all paid for..... If they want the proof of rechargable cars, lease them, then sub-lease them....
