We're down to the "Final Four" to borrow a NCAA basketball term.

Super Bowl could be a battle of the geezers,Brady vs Brees, or the young turks, Mahomes vs Goff, or a turk vs veteran, depending on Sunday's results.

I have an anybody-but-NE thing, nothing against the Patriots,(I'm not a hater who calls them Cheatriots or Gay-triots)just would like to see someone else
win it.Patriots have been there so many times since the turn of the century.

Saints won after the 2009 season,Rams after the 1999 season while still in St.Louis, and the Chiefs won SB IV over the favored Bud Grant-coached Vikings
following the 1969 season.

The Chiefs win came approx 9 months before the Canucks made their NHL debut.Pause to let that one sink in.

I'll be hoping for the Chiefs but I wouldn't bet against the Brady bunch.

LA had great success running the ball vs Dallas, but doing it against the Saints in the Dome s/b more difficult.
I think home field, and Brees' experience will be the difference.

I hope like hell I'm wrong but I similarly think Brady's experience, and Belicheck(sp?) coaching will prevail.

I hope people will chime in!

Last weekends games were excellent and this Sunday's games should be no different.

You bring up Bud Grants Vikings who had former BC Lion Joe Kapp at QB. I met him as a little kid after the Lions Grey Cup victory in 1964. I watched that game vs the Chiefs who totally dominated the Vikes that day.

I'm hoping this years Chiefs meet The Saints in the Super Bowl. I'm also a any team but Boston kind of guy but also think the Chiefs have the right mix of players to beat the Pats in Kansas City. It was a huge game last time they met in MA losing 43-40 to the Pats.

New Orleans vs LA Rams is gonna be a tough game. It's really a Pickem for me.

Chiefs dominate if they still had Hunt but I still like their chances. The much improved secondary has the original crew which included vets like former Cowboy, Scandrick riding the bench and these new replacements give just enough coverage for the front to get after the QB.

Mediocre tackling from the LBs and Safetys could be an issue with yards after the catch considering NE style of passing.

KC has too many weapons on offence though so I hope they run away with this one early.

If Rams can get after Brees they should win. But if he has time to throw it will be a long day for LA.

Gurley is solid but I am not sold on Goff yet.

I am leaning toward the Saints on this one.

Good thing is either team can beat NE if KC messes up and doesn't get through to the SB.

Tom brady is 0-3 on the road in afc championship games, and arrowhead is one of the loudest stadiums in the entire nfl (previously held the record before the Seahawks broke it).

The chiefs also play on natural grass and the Pat's play on artificial turf in Foxborough which will make a difference.

The last time these two teams played chiefs had no Justin Houston or Eric berry and both are expected to play. Justin Houston has 7 sacks in the last 5 games including 2 against the colts. Eric berry is an All pro saftey and it will be a huge boost for their secondary.

Chiefs defense leads the league in sacks with Dee ford and Chris Jones making the pro bowl, and now with Justin Houston returning to All Pro form they have a more than legit Pass rush. Forcing the Patroits into 3rd and longs going to be key because brady is so good at getting rid of the ball fast.

Drew brees is 6-0 in his playoff career at home, and the Superdome will be rocking.

The rams safeties and backers aren't that great, and the saints have the best two way running back in football. Alvin Kamara will get isolated allot on routes and brees will exploit.

On the flip side rams have one of the greatest running games ever, at least that's according to the analytics. Todd Gurley however is hurt, and you can tell hes not 100%.

My prediction is Saints Vs chiefs.

The non-call

How 'de he*l do they miss a obvious penalty like that. ... I just couldn't believe it.

It happened in the open field, in sight of everybody in the stadium, including the officials.
The line judge was about 15 feet away, the field judge 20 feet and the ref. about 40 feet.
I'm pretty sure that if that pass interference would have been called, the Saints would have won the game.

It's a shame that bad officiating can be instrumental in the outcome of such an important game.

It woulda shoulda be the Saints going to the SB. I used to think NFL refs by a high percentage made good calls. This blunder is huge.

Ironically, back in November there was another blown call in favour of the Saints. A make up call?

Great games but crappy outcomes.

55 for KC lined up in the neutral zone on a play that would have ended the game.

Defensive coordinator needs to go along with half of that defensive crew. Even their defensive strength, the pass rush, was completely negated.

Stupid NFL still can't get OT right. Mahomes should have a chance to match the Pats OT 1st possession TD. Does it hurt to play a bit longer ?

Grrrr,
I agree Honda. Mahomes and the Chiefs played toe to toe in 3 of those quarters of football and basically got the shaft due to the call of a damn coin toss!!
NFL should reevaluate the playoff OT rules!!

The ot rule thing is small potatoes.... You have a defense... Their job is to make a stop.... Kc defense clearly ran outta gas in ot.... Nfl needs to re evaluate the refs

That non-call should be a wake-up call for the NFL, but probably won't be.

The whole Super Bowl is now a sham game, since the Rams shouldn't even still be playing.

If it wasn't so blatant, I'd say there was bribery involved. Instead, it was just incompetence.

There’s nobody better at preparing their team than Belichek. KC really missed Hunt, they never replaced him, that hurt. I feel bad for Drew Breese, but look at the situation the Saints were in. Inside the final 2 minutes, ball deep in LA territory. Wtf are u passing the football? An incomplete pass stops the clock, that saves the RAMS timeouts and you risk a pick off. You run the ball every down, u burn the clock, you kill the Rams final time-outs and you kick the winning field goal with 7 or 8 seconds left on the clock. But no arrogant Payton calls passing plays and does the one thing that could cost u the game! Here’s the other aspect that really kills me. The 2 running backs in New Orleans are phenomenal backs. They might have gotten your TD anyway, just by handing it off. Yes, the refs blew the call, it was a brutal miss, and yes, it might have cost them the game, but if the pass is never thrown, Saints are going to Atlanta

Rams are very lucky to be not down 10 to 0 end of 1st, the offense had done NOTHING so far.

Maroon Five the halftime headlining act? It's sort of like the #45 Inauguration that no one wanted to attend.
