I’ve just started watching Mindhunter. It’s pretty interesting. It’s a fictional story about the FBI in the 70’s I believe when they first start actually getting into the mind of serial killers instead of the regular old motives of robbery and personal gain type M.O stuff. They touch on labelling theory and narcissism and other interesting stuff.

Juggling around 7 or more different shows.....

You.....obsessive bookstore manager falls hard for attractive aspiring author who wanders into his bookstore and will kill anyone he considers a threat to her and their relationship.

The Kominsky Method...veteran actors Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin in this comedy drama about an aging former actor and his drama class for which Douglas won a Golden Globe

Bodyguard..... British war veteran becomes the bodyguard for a Conservative politician whose political views he disagrees with. Richard Madden won a Golden Globe for this as best actor in a drama series.

Outlander.... 3 seasons...lots of naked Katriona Balfe as she travels back in time from post WW2 Scotland to 1743 after visiting a Stonehenge like area of standing stones during an electrical storm. Good musical score to go with it. Romantic period drama. Well acted.

Wentworth...Australian womens prison drama 6 seasons...not everyone's taste as its sort of soap opera-ish but its a gritty version of Orange is the New Black with more intricate weaving plots.. lots of murders and women getting their hands burned by the steam press in the laundry. Prison warden Joan Ferguson is a great villain.

Travelers....I was well acquainted with the location of the very first scene (Surrey Central City Public Library) as I had visited there the day before I viewed it and it got me hooked looking and recognizing the Vancouver and area locales...people from the future inhabit the bodies of people about to die so they can attempt to prevent catastrophic events occurring. Marcy (Canadian country singer MacKenzie Porter) is kinda hot. Low tech but interesting premise.

Wanted 3 seasons....two Australian women waiting at a bus stop to go to work witness a murder... are kidnapped and framed and end up being chased through the Outback and other locations by criminals, police and family members. I watch it because I enjoy the performance of quirky Geraldine Hakewell'

Gomorrah...unfortunately only one season on Canadian Netflix....probably the best mob crime drama ever made for televison Sopranos included IMO...Italian subtitles.

I also go back and rewatch various Black Mirror episodes...never seem to get tired of watching them. Line of Duty (British crime drama about police corruption) and Ozark are also good watches.

Not as pooning active as I used to be so spend a lot more time in front of the box.

I can see a near future however where I end up cancelling my membership however....25% increase in cost this year while Disney/Marvel set up their own services and pull away much of the interesting material currently on view.

Lucifer. Netflix picked it up for season 4 after Fox axed it at end of season 3. So crazy additive. Plus mostly filmed in Vancouver.

Haven't spent a ton of time on Netflix lately, but have been binging hard the past few weeks on Ray Donovan and Game of Thrones on Crave TV.

I recently finished season 3 of Daredevil. That was GREAT!

I'm now a few episodes into Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and I'm really enjoying that. I'm pretty sure that was shot locally. Great production design and cinematography. And I like the balance between the lighter and the darker material -- and the makers were not afraid to embrace the darker material.

I still have a handful of season 2 episodes of Ash vs. Evil Dead to watch. I hope they get season 3 soon :D

Titans will be available this Friday. And then I'm really looking forward to season 2 of The Punisher when it becomes available on the 18th.

I haven't watched Bird Box yet. I'm hearing mixed reviews. I did watch Outlaw King and Mowgli. Both were okay but neither really impressed me.

I noticed that A Quiet Place has recently been added. I highly recommend that to anyone who has not yet seen it.

I look forward to season 4 as well. Although, if I remember correctly, they were lured back to LA for production of season 3 by tax incentives.

Dirty John. Last episode tonight. Fascinating and true.

Not sure if it's on NF, but Escape At Dannemorra was great.

Bird Box was one of the dumbest, most illogical, full of plot holes, idiotic, unscary and ridiculous productions I've ever seen. It is unintentionally laughable at times.

I thought Dirty John was supposed to be on bravo but I never found it in the listings.

Escape at Dannemora is a Showtime series and is therefore on crave (in Canada anyway...)

A note to anyone who cares: The DC Universe series, Young Justice season 3 is on teletoon starting tonight. The first two seasons are available on Netflix.

TV (not just netflix)

Escape from Dannemora is great! Ozarks ditto.

I have watched most of the other dramatic series (my preference leans towards more British than Australian content), my honest opinion GOT is drivel, but I will watch final season as it is a part of pop culture. Also really liked Suburra for Italian gangland series.

I would rather be enjoying an experience or reading than watch any superhero content.

I watched the Avicii documentary the other night and was amazed by the footage, I guess these days so much is captured that you can let actual scenes, as opposed to voice overs, tell stories.
