While there are those to be avoided in Nanaimo I have never had any problem finding someone who is great to have a little fun with. There is the lovely Cassidy, all those lovely ladies at BOA, Lalani, Stella, RTM, Noi's, Marie, Lady Vanessa, Pretty Priya and lets not forget the lovely Haley. There are far more than those listed here but I'm worn out just thinking about them.
So many lovelies so few $$.
You do have to step up out of the gutter onto the sidewalk to find them.

Harewood is going to change, just like Whalley did. If you haven't ventured onto the new Surrey Civic Plaza yet, with the Library, the Civic Hotel/KPU campus, & the new City Hall, you wouldn't recognize it as Scurvy Central, as we used to call it back in the day.

When we aren't entertaining, we like to wander down to one of the nearby restaurants for a glass of wine, or beer and a delicious meal. I'm crazy about the little seaside shop that sells Nanaimo bar ice-cream.

On a warm day, there are always beautiful women and gorgeous dogs walking along the seawall or in Maffeo Sutton Park. I like to watch the boats go by, and the sea planes landing and taking off.

Sometimes I take my kayak out on the water, and paddle around Newcastle Island, or to the Dingy Dock Pub on Protection Island for live music and a pound of clams.

For my birthday, Miss Lady Vanessa took me sailing. We had a picnic in the boat while we watched the sunset.

I've traveled all over the world, and lived on three different continents, and this is where I decided to make my home. I love this town--it's peaceful, affordable, and people are generally laid-back.

Perhaps if you find Nanaimo unpleasant, you may want to change the company you keep. My friends and I are happy to show you the best this town has to offer.
Oh Priya you are such a sweetheart. We need to go walkies in the woods next week when the sun is out & the birds are singing...

I havnt been there in over 15ys (worked there for a year) apart from that year its been over 30yrs. Ive heard that its gotten a lot better than it use to be. Might go there soon to meet my daughter. Nanaimo is a good meeting point since she comes from Campbell river. Can anyone recommend any upscale restaurants . Italian or French preferred.

The Mahle house in cedar, fine dining and classy. The bold knight is a great steak house, with Italian Greek cuisine as well. Mmmmm

As long as Goddess Lalani is there, Nanaimo is a most wonderful place to live ... and visit!
