The group of ladies at SweetVIPS have always embodied the spirit of being different, but better because.
We are constantly challenging ourselves to find a better way of doing things, and creating a positive attitude
towards our industry for those who work and play in it.
Unfortunately, the elephant in the room has always been discretion and stigma, it's something the majority of us live with
or can at least understand. With that in mind, we have always taken extra steps and precautions for our co-workers and clients,
to ensure they do not see anyone they don't need to (IMHO we have done a pretty awesome job of it I might add).
Our mantra has always been quality over quantity, but now that the amount of agencies in Victoria has almost doubled,
paying attention to where clients are spending their money has never been more important. As is the nature of business
one must adapt, or become extinct, and we have far too much good work to do still.
It's no secret our marketing approach over the last decade has encouraged clients to support an ethical company that is
"different but better because". Earlier this week I spent some time talking and brainstorming with the ladies about this concept.
Although we would rather spend our money at the coffee shop that uses free trade beans and recyclable conscious products,
obviously convenience plays a big part in consumerism (as we all sipped our timmies).
We brainstormed a bit and started thinking of ways SweetVIPS could become more "convenient" and still maintain our quality of
service that sets us apart from the rest. Thanks to the ever smart and creative group of ladies I have the pleasure of working with
we have a new idea on the table that we are working on. That all being said, here is what I need your help with Perberts...
We are thinking of restructuring our front entrance to create a waiting area - and do a little experiment called "Walk-in Wednesdays".
Since some things are better in theory than reality, we are thinking of trying this for a few weeks and see what comes of it,
but before we do that I wanted to poll the community and get your thoughts and feedback on this.
I know many of the agencies already utilize a walk-in environment, but I've got a few questions...
What do you do when you have multiple clients in the waiting room?
And how does that make you feel as a client?
Do you care if you see other clients?
I welcome everyone's thoughts and feedback on this, and we look forward to continuing to find ways we can do things even better at SweetVIPS.
