Here is a link to a group that may be offering a global replacement for Backpage and/or the review boards that have shut down in the States. I haven't checked it out beyond looking at the FAQ section and it may only be one of many possibilities but their approach seems good. It probably isn't relevant in Canada where the boards are unaffected and Leolist is replacing Backpage but it could be important for the community in other countries. It uses the TLD for Austria.

I believe it's Australian not Austrian. It's going to be interesting to see which platform will take over as the go-to site for sex workers after backpage. I think within 6 months it'll sort itself out. With so many disenfranchised SWs in the U.S. that still need the internet to promote their business, they'll obviously lead the way to keeping the world's oldest profession going strong in the world's richest and most connected nation.

Donald Trump and his loyal followers may not admit it, but they love seeing their hookers too much to let them go out of business. You can bet FOSTA/SESTA has plenty of loopholes for the sex trade to get around.

So it's the "SWs" that need the Internet to promote themselves. Of course, so the John driving up can match the girl to the image on his phone. Yeah, go ahead and edit that and next time proof read before you post.

"SW" in this case refers to the term "sex worker," not the older usage of "street walker." Sorry for the confusion GQ1.

The organizers of the site are in Australia but they used the Austrian TLD for strategic reasons. They are deliberately working to avoid government harassment.

Trump and friends want sex worker services to be available but they also want the sex workers to be as vulnerable and dis-empowered as possible, thus all the laws and the selective enforcement.
