Your posts are way too criptic! I feel like Im playing a game of Clue just trying to figure out what the hell you are trying to say. Somehow I doubt it is just me. Just saying.

Maybe fill in some of the blanks in the future lol.

Amen. I knew it wasn't just me, and I didn't want to start a thread about it, but I can't decippher 90% of whatever he's trying to get across.

Maybe English isn't his first language, but it's like grafffiti- what's the point if nobody knows what it says?

After watching the series finale of Mr. Robot I came across this Youtube article which I personally concur with regarding Martin Scorcese's comments about how over time the positions of movies and television re creativity have reversed.

I watched a ton of movies.

I Am Mother: its on netflix, sci fi about a girl raised by a driod in a post apocalyptic landscape. Great visuals, themes, acting

Star Wars Episode 9: it felt like course correction the movie. Its acceptable for fans but a lot of it is rushed fetch quests and people and lots of unresolved stuff

Ford v Ferrari: bare bones drama about men and racing. Feels like a classic movie because its a good drama with intense racing scenes. Great performances all around

Ip Man 4 The Finale: if you like martial arts movies then see this one. Donnie yen's final kung fu film is a nice swan song

Knives Out is solid. So is A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood, the Tom Hanks mr rogers drama. Jumanji 2 and frozen 2 are meh sequels.

I can’t watch this mockery of the Star Wars world. The Mandalorian gave me a little rest, but it still falls short of the original.

Saw it using the DBox. :D

See it in the theatre. A big screen TV and sound system won’t do this one justice. So much close up camera work makes you feel you’re in the scene with the actors when in the theatre.

The Last Full Measure

Another based upon a true story. Seems to be the genre I prefer.

It’s Peter Fonda’s last film and he does a great portrayal of a Vet with PTSD.

I recommend seeing this one. The script does a great job of linking all the human factors around a Vietnam battle where the US had most of a battalion wiped out.

Dark Waters: It came out last year. Based on a true story. Great work my Mike Ruffalo, one of my fav actors. His character (reluctantly at first) takes on Du Pont. I bet you would want to throw away all the non sticking pans out after watching this movie. Recommended!!

One day all the mankind will have so much Teflon in it that all the 'stickiness' will be gone. But in all seriousness the movie is an eye-opener.

Getting hyped for Ford vs Ferrari (by the director of Logan)

I saw it a couple of times in the theatre DBOX and just downloaded the iTunes last night.

For those really into behind the scenes movie production, cars and racing; the iTunes extras are well worth the cost of the download. There’s a 25 min short on how they constructed the key race scenes in six different world wide locations to give the viewers a believable Le Mans experience. Even to the point of getting a 1960’s Ferrari exact model car from a Georgia USA location and transporting it to Florida to record the engine noise because FL doesn’t have any noise restrictions like Georgia. So film is visually and auditorily incredibly accurate to the 1960’s Le Mans.

Non-stick pans is the greatest con DuPont ever pulled on the cooking community. Cannot tolerate high heat, wears out after a few years or less, cannot take abuse. Meanwhile European and Asian cooks have been using carbon steel for decades with no problem.

Ford vs Ferrari is $25.00 to buy on iTunes. Cheaper in theaters where the big screen does it more justice.

* correction, by the time you pay for your date, pay for popcorn and drinks...watch it on iTunes and have better popcorn.

If you had bothered to read my post, I was discussing the iTunes Extras which I found to be very interesting. You only get the Extras if you buy the movie not rent it.

And in the theatre, I saw it twice in DBox seats.

Just finished watching Hounds Of Love. It is a tense, well made thriller. It is also a bit uniquely made.

A young girl is abducted by a crazy couple. It is quite brilliant, I thought. Although it is quite graphic in some parts, they kept a lot of stuff off camera. I had heard about it but I didn’t watch it thinking it’s a slasher horror. But I am glad I watched this Aussie production.

Strongly recommended. 3.5 out of 5.

This one's outta the theatres already I think, but UNDERWATER with Kristan Stewart is perfect for you guys who enjoy a good "underwater" horror film.
It's a fun movie in it's own right, but definitely has inspirations from Deep Star Six, Leviathan, and of course Alien. Great effects, amazing sets, solid story overall, and a few funny liners (it's got TJ Miller, what did you expect?) Now i'm not the biggest fan of Stewart's "style" of acting...but her running around with a wet tanktop and thigh-high socks was quite enjoyable. (helped that I had an SP booked after the movie too for a little release :eyebrows: )

7.5/10

Was curious about Parasite the korean film...now after it killed it at the Oscars, i've gotta see what the hype is about.

Incredible performance by Mark Ruffalo in Dark Waters. I was downtown on a weeknight and wanted to catch a flick, but felt like something non-mainstream blockbuster so i checked out Tinseltown which is great for playing these films (compared to friggin Metropolis where i live close to). Saw Dark Water without reading any reviews and glad I did.
Obviously, you MUST have seen Spotlight which Mark was nominated for an Oscar. The film was about a very scary, disgusting story revealed about the Vatican Churches mainly in Boston. After seeing that, I confidently knew Dark Waters was at least worth a watch w/Ruffalo.

Ford Vs Ferrari I was super hyped about it the 1st time i saw the trailer almost a year ago. It was great seeing a racing film again...the Fast series has completely turned into something else i don't care for anymore. Happy to see FvF took home a couple of Oscars for Sound and Film Editing. Loved Bale & Damon's chemistry in this!
