First of all, I'd like to echo the comments made by some other board veterans and welcome the new members who have posted reviews lately. It is encouraging to see that you are taking up where some of us have left off or are winding down a little. You are helping to keep this board alive and are rejuvenating the Winnipeg Forum. Thank you.
If I may, I'd also like to offer some friendly advice on how to make reviews even better and more helpful to newbies and veterans alike.
1. ALWAYS include the lady's name in the title of the post. For example, if you are reviewing Bubbles, the thread title should be either "Review - Bubbles" or "Bubbles - review", or something similar. Please don't post reviews with titles like "A wonderful evening", or something generic and unconnected to a specific lady. Remember, the purpose of the board is to aid other pooners in making good decisions. A generic review title makes the "Search" function less effective. Many members search by looking for a lady's name in the titles of posts. A general search turns up every post in which a certain name appears, which could be hundreds of posts, only a few of which are actual reviews.
2. Please don't review multiple ladies in one post. I realize some of you are catching up and your info is certainly welcome and appreciated, but again, this renders the Search function less effective. Not only that, it's almost inevitable that someone will respond with comments that are unclear as to which lady they're talking about and possibly send the thread in the wrong direction. In addition, the ladies deserve their own review threads free of comments about other ladies. If you wish to post about several ladies, please post separate threads for each. The text of reviews takes far longer to create and post than titles anyway, so posting each review in a separate thread even for five or six ladies only takes a few seconds extra and helps keep the board well organized and easily searchable. An added benefit is that the more reviews you post, the faster you will develop a good reputation, and board veterans will be more inclined to share info with you via PM.
3. ALWAYS include contact info in reviews. Just mentioning the lady's name is insufficient. It's not always obvious to the readers, whether veterans or newbies, where a lady advertises. Help them save time searching. Not only that, there have been times when there have been three or even four ladies in Winnipeg using the same working name. Someone posts a positive review of Bubbles, and another member posts about his negative experience with Bubbles. Unfortunately, there are two Bubbles at the time, and the negative comments are not about the Bubbles being reviewed, So, please post wither a link to the lady's ad and/or other advertised contact info such as the last four digits of her phone number and where she advertises.
4. Please include pricing info in your reviews. In the past, most ladies' ads included this info. Now, it's not as common. Your fellow pooners want to know in advance how much they're likely to have to spend. If , for some reason, you receive a discount, you shouldn't mention that in your review. in that case, just say what her regular her rate is.
5. Please give us at least some idea of what services you received during your session. The review doesn't have to be super graphic if you're not comfortable with that, but it shouldn't just say what a wonderful time you had without some details or hints as to what you actually did. This isn't the other board! Remember, we're a bunch of dirty old men, and inquiring minds want to know!
6. Negative reviews are welcome here too, as long as they're authentic. Not all our experiences are positive, and your fellow pooners need to know when to avoid certain SPs. The key to writing effective negative reviews is to not attack the provider personally. Just concentrate on telling us what happened during the encounter, what went wrong and why you were disappointed, such as her appearance didn't match her advertised description, she didn't provide promised services, she tried to upsell, etc. Don't say, "She's a fat, ugly bitch"; just say, "She is a lot heavier that advertised and her appearance wasn't what I was led to expect". If you're really upset, cool off for a couple of days before posting. But, please don't avoid negative reviews if warranted. They are just as helpful to your fellow pooners as positive reviews. You might catch some flak, but so what? This is the internet after all; we're all anonymous, aren't we?
Anyway, once again welcome, and I look forward to more of your reviews.
