There's a fan made Star trek out there
It is called Star Trek continum.
It is very well made and copy the original down to a T.
A rest episode
Called "what ships are for"
The message is very prevalent to today's state

A friend and I had a good talk with Vic Mignona at a recent Comic Con.
He said the next episode might be the last. The work he puts into each episode is too much. Writing and directing, also carpentry, electrical, even helping to sew costumes and move furniture.
His girlfriend is easily the hottest woman to ever appear on television.

They are as well made as the originalsun.
But probably at a fraction of the cost if they ate doing so much of the work them selves.
Who is his girl friend?
His girlfriend is Michele Specht, who plays the ship's counselor and psychiatrist.

ok so I have always been a "Trekkie" from when I was probably pre-teen. Seen every episode multiple times of every star trek based show good (Original, SNG) and the bad (DS9) (sitting on the edge for Enterprise) lol. Every movie new and old, good and bad. (odd numbered sequels) This is the first I have heard of this. Star Trek Continues WTF, how did I miss that. I am halfway through the last episode, WTF, Q (John de Lancie) and Grant Imahara have already appeared. By now looking at the special guests and reoccurring guest cast it will get even better by the time I am caught up.
So if anyone knows of any more "continues" type reto shows please speak up. I would hate to find out I am missing some more gens out there. Need more fill in shows during seasons of TWD
Oh and what is everyone's take on the reboot movies. 1 & 2 thumbs up and 3 Yawn for me. Do have to give Michael Giacchino credit for composer.
Oh and I do not dress up and/or go to any type of conventions![]()

Ok.....lets all go with that today.
The people making this series have a deal with the copyright holders.
They are registered as a non profit so nobody is making much money.
Because of this they are using exact blueprints for the bridge and other sets, using the same actors and characters.
I do not think anyone else could get away with that or Paramount's lawyers would be all over them.
Conventions are a lot of fun. I don't dress up but you can meet a lot of inteesting people.
Dress up if you want. It isn't hurting anyone.
Go to any NHL game and see drunken fat slobs in their hero's jersey, that is way more pathetic.
