And how do these cocksucking PC's and Liberals clean up an NDP mess? Just like they did here 16 fuckinThe tough times for Alberta happen when the NDP are kicked out and the new UCP Government has to clean up the mess. That is what happens when any Party takes the reigns after governance by the NDP.

A major issue in Alberta is the tax system. A large portion of the tax base is built around resources which have wild swings. You can't fund public services that are fixed with revenues that swing all over the map. They need to change the tax system but the old boys will have none of that. You think the Skytrain sucks? Try the C train. The province needs a visionary thinker not recycling old politicians. That won't happen.
They "fix" it by rolling back public sector wages by 15% and slashing the management positions.Currently there is 1 manager for every 3 employees(take into account ancillary positions to support management and that is a lot of Government bloat) and if anybody wants to complain they should be told "the only thing worse than having a job is looking for one"....in other words shut up or hit the bricks. And how do these cocksucking PC's and Liberals clean up an NDP mess? Just like they did here 16 fuckin
years ago with the new Gordon "yes I am a convicted drunk driver' Campbell.
By Closing multitudes of Hospitals and Schools and leaving the Society to reap that whirlwind and
destroy the unions that built them and the JOBS that you so eloquently talk about.
Btw, if I'm wrong then why did you Albertans vote in the NDP? Shaking my head here since you love
those So called Anti socialists so much. LOL.
One other thing when it comes to getting fucked up the ass by the NDP at least they'll give me a raise in pay
while doing it where as the fucking Liberals here and the Cheshire cat BITCH we had as a premier wouldn't
even give me the courtesy of a reach around. After 16 years of feeding the business and rich the cash flow
can now come our way for a change. And what's wrong with that? !!

I am resentfull of how tax payers money is squandered on public servants in both the public union sector and our politicians and I mean politicians of ALL parties.I also resent how public sector workers can outright fuck the dog and wont be held accountable. One of the best examples is Canada Post employees and their bankable sick time of 18 days per year.Bank 12 days a year over 25 years =300 banked sick days and combine that with the 6 weeks of paid vacation.Final year is working 6 weeks and then going on "stress leave" for the banked sick days then working 1 week and then going on paid vacation and this was common practice until the banked sick days got terminated. Are you just jealous because you are not in one of those unions yourself? Everything always looks so simple from the outside.
The Province of Alberta as well as the City of Calgary do not have a "funding problem" they both collectively have a "spending problem" and the bureaucrats for both of them are the biggest waste of tax payer monies. There are both Government/Civic Managers that make more money each fiscal year than the Premier/Mayor respectively. Most disgusting thing I have seen was when the CEO of Enmax Gary Holden got fired with just cause for accepting a bribe(which was an all expense paid trip to the Monaco Grand Prix) and he then got a 4 MILLION severance package after he was fired for taking a BRIBE.Hell the douchebag should have been tarred and feathered and ran out of town on a rail instead he got handed a golden parachute for taking a BRIBE.Let's be honest though. Those high salaries aren't because the government fed it's "union buddies". They're because it was what the public service had to pay to even attract employees. In a hyper inflated job market, you had to stand on your head to acquire staff or you simply didn't get any staff. There was *no* staff and the run up of salaries was what happens in a free market. You can't much pay a government worker a lousy salary versus the oil patch or private business and expect to get any type of talent to apply. What you are seeing now is a balancing of the market, but that balance comes with an ugly cost. In the private sector it means much lower salaries. In the public sector is means lower salaries and wage rollbacks.
I can understand the NDP's reticence to shutting down hospitals, etc. It took a lot of money and a lot of years to play catch up with public services. If you want a good example look no further than Calgary Transit. If Vancouver was Calgary, the Patello Bridge would be the best bridge in the city.
Just your comments about teachers shows your complete ignorance.Yes Alberta is posting better GDP numbers as it fucking should considering not only the gutting of the price of oil but also the shutdown in production due to the "BEAST" wildfire last year in Fort Mac.That wildfire would have been stopped in it's tracks had the NDP government tendered the water bomber contract and our Che Guevera worshipping Premiere had the nerve to call the Wildrose leader Brian Jean a "fear mongerer" because he pointed out this little factoid in the Legislature.
At the same time and actually much more recently the Canadian dollar has gained strength which of course will cause the NDP's budget to slip even lower into the red(or should I say orange as Orange is the new broke and you will soon find that out) so Alberta will most likely be in debt for 2 BILLION more than anticipated.
That dont mean shit though as there are still 30,000 people in downtown Calgary that dont have jobs so they dont have to worry about paying taxes for the NDP to squander on Socialist policies. If you like Socialism so much why dont you sell off your fancy Vancouver home and fuck off to Venezuella where you can live the Socialist dream of food riots and mass unemployment as well as the fun of a Socialist dictator who will soon alter the Constitution so as to remove the Opposition and replace it with his cronies.
For Albertans there is now a light at the end of the tunnel with the merger of the PC's/Wildrose.Come the next election there will not be a split of the Conservative vote nor will the NDP get the benefit of a protest vote gone wrong.
Here is a take on NDP Governance in Alberta. The Alberta Teachers Union's contract was up last year so what did the Notley NDP government do....they kicked the fucking can down the road. The contract was expired by 1 year so they offered a 5% cash bonus retroactive and for the next year when the contract is to be renewed again. The entire workforce of CNRL voluntarily took a 10% pay CUT a year ago so as to avoid lay offs but now that cant happen to the pigs at the trough in the public sector......heaven forfend those people might not be able to take 3 vacations a year....or even worse the teachers might just about run out of money as summer vacation comes to an end where they get paid for not working for 2 months.
Alberta has less than 2 years left and then we shall throw off the yoke of Socialist oppression.BC has potentially 4 years of it and it is the worst kind.A wacked out fucked up commie NDP government propped up by an even more fucked up partner in the GREEN party.Orange and Green for BC = get bent over and prepared to take it in the ass.....not for those in positions of power though.....just the tax payers. Those people that provide the government the money to frivilously squander and live life at the trough with the mantra of "Do as I say not as I do".
The tough times for Alberta happen when the NDP are kicked out and the new UCP Government has to clean up the mess. That is what happens when any Party takes the reigns after governance by the NDP.

Yup. Everyone should get $5/hr and no benefits. Another twit trying to drag everyone down instead making things better.I am resentfull of how tax payers money is squandered on public servants in both the public union sector and our politicians and I mean politicians of ALL parties.I also resent how public sector workers can outright fuck the dog and wont be held accountable.

Things got shitty in Alberta/Calgary when Ralph Klein got his nose out of joint over a 62% leadership review and things got shitty for Calgary when Dave Bronconier decided not to run for Mayor again.Alberta got handed the dithering shithead Ed Stelmach and then the Red Queen Redford and Calgary got Naheed Spendshi. It is a shitty lot in life but not as bad as having a former director of the Tides Foundation running the show as Mayor of Vancouver.Have fun paying more and more taxes and taxes upon top of taxes with that bastard commie running Vancouver and all the while on the take from the Tides Foundation which is a USA based special interest group interfering with Canadian politics on all 3 levels of Government....and all backed by the Rockefellers.....former owners of Standard Oil.

Where's that Heritage Fund with all those billions of dollars?Kept telling them to create a rainy day fund.
Not all private companies offer sick days. Consider yourself lucky if you get any.Canada Post maximum sick days were fifteen, never eighteen. It is 5.5 now.
No point letting facts interfere with a good rant though.
So, if you get a raise from the NDP in power, you are making close to minimum wage. Try the flip side for all those private companies paying these wages, who now will face a huge percentage increase in wage costs. Many will not be able to raise their prices accordingly to cover this forced increase in costs. And how do these cocksucking PC's and Liberals clean up an NDP mess? Just like they did here 16 fuckin

Which is happening in BC with unaffordable housing.a large part of the alberta economy is still agriculture which keeps the province alive while oil prices are in a down cycle
personally, and not that I know anything, but what I think is the worst problem with NDP governments in the western provinces is that it drives some of the best and brightest out of the province. Even if they don't leave, their investment and business focus shifts to another jurisdiction
What a silly thing to say.Hell today I delivered 4 flats of boxes to a very nice bistro in downtown Calgary. It was a bugger of a delivery and I had to use a 4 wheel flatdeck to get them from my vehicle to the establishment.Got them delivered and I commented how nice the place was and how I had never been there before. The reply I got was "the boxes are for moving as our last day is Saturday because we are going out of business".The NDP minimum wage increase to $15 an hour combined with 30,000 less people downtown each day 5 days a week when they had jobs and went out for lunch cant possibly be the result of bistro's such as this going out of business could it?Not all private companies offer sick days. Consider yourself lucky if you get any.

It's all clear now.I have been doing what I am doing for 20 years now and I bust my ass 12 hours a day.I have not had a "sick day" in 19 years because if I dont work I dont make money.
