Thread: Getting high?

    Getting high?

Yes it is not something I have much experience with .I don't like being out of control.

There have been a few times I go high from glues at work or mixing cold medication but that's about it. Never felt the need for drugs.

But that is changing have cancer now and I am trying a canabisoil which is more CDB then THC..but there still has to be THC to help the CDB work on the cancer.

And the say to take it internally and put it topically On the tumor .my tumor is on my chin..
Well the other day I did both in the evening and all though it is not very much I took ,it was a bout the size of two rice cernals.
I mixed it with just CDB canabisoil and then one that was more THC then CDB. I allso got cold so I took a night time ever nit quil.

A few hours later I was high as a kit.
Just really disoriented and unstable on my feet .
My mind was wide a wake luck I don't havež
to much on my mind these day or I sense it would of been going a mile a minute.

It lasted a good or bad 6 hrs.. not my idea of fun.

Not sure what people get out of not being able to function.
Hopefully I build up some tolerance to this but I am only taking at night .Not planing on being stoned through the day .I have to drive cars.

I used to seek out 420 friendly SP's. Having a bit of Indica herb or dabs prior to a session can be incredibly stimulating for both since its a body high where you literally feel it from your head to your toes. Some hybrids also seem to have a bit of connectedness when having sex. One in particular dab "Rock Star" seemed like a wonder drug while having sex for both of us.

Seems the SP's I've visited this past year have not been interested even though when they were not working they said they indulged in the occasional bowl.

Never had an erection problem while using bud. Some other drugs like cocaine are well known problems for SP's who coined the phrase "Coke Dick".

With your cancer treatments, you can load up on the THC about 30 minutes before you go to bed. That way the high hits you when you're asleep and it's not bad.
I have to take the same. Low THC during the day for pain, but at night I take high THC and crash.
Drink plenty of water as you do get thirsty/dry in the morning if you don't.

On the loss of erection, just the opposite for me. Amazing O's

Yes I notice I was dry in mouth
And could not get up that easily to get a drink

The Web sites for this treatment say you have to get up to a gram a day of this paste.
That seems like a lot and very expensive when buying ftom a medical licenses place .
It run $30 for a gram of lower CDB to $60 for gram of just CDB.

A few years ago, my ex and I ate some magic mushrooms and I got incredibly hard ... but I couldn't come. I just 'rode it out' for what seemed eternal so to speak and she loved it. Eventually I did release the pigeons. Another time I had to take Prednisone which also led to some prolonged stiffies. Weed doesn't impact erection much but it sure enhances the passion and submission ... makes me want to DATY (even more than usual) until the tongue and jaw basically just lock up. Good times. Not a big fan of doing drugs though and anything more than one glass of vino messes with erections.

I am well known to be 420 friendly; at the moment I am pretty nearly 420 ecstatic! I am enjoying some dabs in Nanaimo. A long time Indica smoker, I have found that I much enjoy the elevation of a sativa over the relaxation of an indica. Even a sativa heavy hyrbrid is preferable to me these days!

Well in my case I am not interested in getting high
And originally the articles I read on treating csncer with canabisoil said that it could just be CDB.
But as I read more on it the story change to saying more THC.
The researchers mainly look at the effects of CDB because they have no problem with dealing with whole drug clarification.
Of course they get their CDB from hemp.
Which is missing other ingredient that Marijuana has.

I hope what ever you use works for you.
I can't be much help since I have never done 420 or any other drugs.

I have an inverse reaction to CBD/THC. CBD makes me completely useless. I assume it is what people mean by being stoned. I get dizzy, disoriented, lethargic, confused, and it's an overall awful experience. THC on the other hand gives me energy, relaxes my body, eases pain and lets me think in a focused and clear way. Perhaps you have the same sort of issue.

You also have to keep in mind that THC and CBD are only 2 of 483 currently known compounds in weed. There are at least 779 distinct stains, each with different ratios of terpenes and active compounds. Each of these compounds creates different effects.

I have used it for systemic lupus for over a decade. It takes a lot of trial and error to figure out what works best for you. But once you figure it out, it is beyond worth it. I went from 97 pharaceutical pills a day to zero, and the green medicine I take now has left me feeling stronger and healthier than I have ever felt.

I would strongly encourage you to keep trying. Keep a spreadsheet with the following information: How you felt before. What you took (strain and grower). How much you took. What method you used. Effects after taking it, and anything else in your system that may have interacted with the weed/results (caffeine, alcohol, allergy meds, food etc)

I also avoid premade oils, tinctures or anything that just lists the CBD/THC/CBN values.......unless they market as always using the exact same strain for their medicine. As mentioned above, there are so many other active components, and if a product is only standardized for the above 3 compounds, you can still have vastly different results from batch to batch.

I would suggest investing in a volcano vaporizer. They are pricey (about $800), but well worth the investment. It will allow you to buy the actual bud (try at least a dozen different varieties to start) so that you have the most options, and can figure out exactly what works for you with the least undesirable side effects. Knowing the strain and the grower will give you reliable results with their product each time.

The vapor from a volcano is relatively easy to breath in. It's not as clean as pure air, but kind of like breathing in the air from Los Angeles. A little gluggy, but not going to cause you to cough. It also has the most mild smell, so even if you use it inside, it is virtually undetectable - and completely undetectable half an hour later.

Since nothing is being burned, only the active ingredients are released, without any carcinogens.

I also found it very helpful to take insane amounts at night before bed. Especially until I found what works for me without any undesirable side effects. I personally found that if I took so much at night time that I physically passed out from it, that the positive effects lasted about 22 hours - or until it was time for my next dose.

Taking amounts that high did leave me feeling groggy and disoriented for the first 30-60 minutes after waking up, but after that I felt normal and virtually pain free until nighttime again.

I'm really sorry that you are going through some medical challenges at the moment, but MJ is really a miracle herb once you understand how to best use it for you. It has helped me and my dogs in so many ways beyond what I originally thought it could. My oldest dog is well into his 20's now, and he is still running 10+ kilometers a day. 11 years ago, the vets were thinking it was about time for his big sleep, but the since taking the weed, he has been pain free, happy, energetic, and has absolutely no health issues at all (other than being blind and deaf). His organs are in perfect shape, his digestion is terrific, his arthritis is gone and he (along with all of us) have a quality of life that we never thought possible.
