What a ass whopping tonight.

Do you think Cavs have a prayer?

4-0 seems very very possible after Durant ran them over.

Could this be the worse Stanley Cup, NBA finals ever with 4-0 or 4-1 series wins?

The NHL playoffs this year has been FAR better than the NBA playoffs and the finals are no different. Both hockey games so far were tightly contested minus a period. The NBA playoffs were either sweeps by "dominant" (more on this later) teams or mediocre teams going 6/7. The Cavs are perceived to the hype in this matchup for good reason; third straight same finals, only lost one game in the East bracket... but don't forget the East was utter trash this year and the Warriors added Durant. The Cavs didn't try on D in the regular season, and although they're "trying" now, they're nowhere near good enough to contain the best team of all-time (yeah I went there). I would be surprised if the NBA finals went further than five games, and IMO it's safe to say that if they sweep the Cavs, they'll likely get branded as the GOAT team.

I think the Cavs will win at least one game... the Warriors will let their guard down at some point. With Klay not shooting well, it looked quite tough on the Warriors when KD was on the bench.

I just really hope we don't see any injuries. I want the Dubs to beat LeBron fair and square!

That Bogut injury was pretty big. The Cavs got out rebounded big time. That 7 footer would have help, any help was needed on the boards.

I think the Preds will take at least 2 home games, but Pens will win.
Would like to see the Preds win as it gives me a chance to touch the cup when it comes to town.

Whether you like the Super teams or not, take in this NBA finals because we're likely 2 or 3 years away from this never happening again. I hope the Warriors run the table.

Thompson is getting shut out in the paint and JR choking like Ray Allen in 08. Love plays shit D and the warriors are exploiting that like a leaking levee in New Orleans. Williams and Korver aren't hitting 3s as well....Cavs have an older bench that is getting gassed out by 4th quarter

Then again LeBron could be trolling aND lulling the Warriors into a sense of overconfidence

That must've been incredibly disheartening, to just shit the bed like that in the last three or so minutes. The Lebron haters/MJ nuthuggers are going to come out in full force. It's also pretty awkward for Lebron because even though you want to make the best plays for the team, Kyrie is still the best isolation player on that team... every time shit goes down* you got people asking why isn't Lebron taking that shot etc.?!

*Disclaimer: Kyrie 2016 finals winning three not withstanding

If you watch the game without sound you can see that the refs/announcers are pretty biased....there was a lack of calls for the cavs, especially in the paint/layups.

They were really looking to draw the fouls but with no call their D got exposed

It was an extremely heartbreaker for me. Always root against superteams and the Cavs just needed one bucket or a 3 when they were up 6 with 3 minutes to play.
This team was built a bit wrong imo. Channing Fry does not play a minute ? Deron Williams is exposed as a moving iceberg out there against a quick team. They were brought in to destroy the East and now way too slow against the fast West team.

I think of the stars in the league will jump on the Cavs bandwagon as its got 1-2 years left tops. There is no more room on the Golden State's wagon.

Perhaps Paul George ? Melo ?

This happens every year. A large reason I quit watching most of the games or taking the league too seriously. However, there was a major 3 step travel violation that should have been called against the Cavs late it the game that would have iced it for GSW around the 2 minute remaining mark.
It's called the Superstar Rules. MJ was not immune to this in his day, nor Kobe, not Malone, Iverson.......

I have no idea why I even watched any of the season. Durant was a HUGE upgrade on an already powerful team and Cleveland was still far and away the class of the east. Anyone could forecast this final and result back last summer. Unless Lebron jumps ship there will be no change next year either. Another GSW win.

Except if you're Rasheed Wallace...."BALL DON'T LIE" everytime and the NBA oscar for acting....a Technical Foul

Now there's rumors Lebron gonna bail on Cavs for Lakers/Clippers...
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ally-join-lakers-clippers-in-2018-free-agency
Lebron going to Clippers or Lakers won't change anything. Lakers aren't ready yet and Clippers are a terrible, terrible fit. If he wants a shot at GOAT he has to stay, but the Cavs aren't getting any better and his feud with Dan Gilbert has been well documented. I'd love it if he left the East though.

To Knicks: "Assets"
To Clippers: Melo
To OKC: Griffin

Assemble banana boat in LA. The Clippers-Warriors rivalry would be legit.

Ballmer can afford the luxury tax right?

How about Palming the Ball. Durant has a PHD in it.
ya I agree. I've noticed Kyrie, LBJ, Westbrook, Harden and Steph carry the ball on a regular basis
when they make that crossover dribble. probably has to do with size of their hands to the ball.
prob equivalent to us weekend warriors dribbling with a volleyball.

21st and prime
first and foremost before I begin. I just want to say that I'm die hard laker fan and have been for pretty much my whole life, or as long as I can remember, and now I'm in my mid twenties.

With that said, this is the mooooost boring nba finals/playoffs ever, and believe me it has nothing to do with my team not being in it. Last year was entertaining, but this year thanks to kevin durant who ruined the nba season, the playoffs suck. I always thought lebrons move to maimi was the weakest move that I'd ever seen (ray allen joining the heat was a close 2nd.. smh, you dont turn your back on your brothers like that). but along came durant and proved that wrong by making the biggest BITCH MADE move ever. I mean youre up 3-1? and you blow that lead, and then go join that team that beat you??? THE FUCK. I remember hearing the news of him joining the warriors and was just in complete disbelief, like I thought it was a joke or something. I just knew right away on july 4th, 2016 (yes, i remember the date lol) that this was going to happen. Cavs have a very talented team, but the warriors added an out of this world talent for pretty much harrison barnes. Anybody would do that trade in a heart beat.

Going 16-0 aint special, its expected, this team experienced no struggles. Even when jordan, The G.O.A.T, had his run with the bulls, he experienced his growing pains with losses with the Celtics and bad boy pistons. Before, Kobe and shaq ran off they're 3peat they lost 4 straight years in the playoffs, and they even got swept twice. Hell even lebron and the heat, realized how hard it was to win it all with that embarrassing loss to Dallas, when lebron chocked and disappeared in the 4th qtr 5 straight games. (He promised maimi 7 rings by the way.. not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6.). But these guys experienced none of that, so nobody gives a shit. What was there biggest challenge? how they're gonna share the ball? and learn to coexist. Give me break thats like bill gates and warren buffet trying to figure how there gonna split the dinner bill.

Now, Lebron going to the lakers, actually makes allot of sense. Paul goerge has stated all season long that he going to the lakers or staying in Indiana if they can add some talent. (which i dont see them doing). So at this point it is a pretty much fore gone conclusion that Paul George is coming to the lakers, his hometown team and his fovorite player growing up was kobe bean bryant, the black mamba, thats why he wore 24, before changing his number to 13. Lakers also have allot of young talent (juluis Randell, brandon ingram, russell, clarkson, and soon lonzo ball.) and those are going to be valuable trade pieces, because gms and coaches get a hard on for potential. Kind of like the Wiggins for kevin love deal. When lebron wrote that letter that he was coming home. he mentioned kyrie, tristian, and deion waiters, but no mention of wiggins because he already knew that he was going to get traded for k. love, thats how much power lebron has, hes smart like that. So the pieces are in place for trading for a lost superstar, such as maybe an Anthony davis? who did state at the all star game via his his agent that he was interested in going to the lakers and possibly teaming up with russell westbrook who also is free agent 2018, along with lebron and george. westbrook is also an L.A boy, born and raised that grew up a kobe fan. you never know maybe im just dreaming.

Shout out russell westbrook tho, for saving the nba season, and making it watchable. I SALUTE YOU. I witnessed a man average a triple double!!! i thought that wasn't possible, never in my life time did I think I would witness that. Nobody in the nba plays has hard on every single possession as this man does, just the pure anger he plays with, its awesome. SO thank you.

The realest in the game. 2 shots to the head, fuck some kevin durant.

Predictions for game 5? I think GS will play lights out 134-98 for the title.

Refs are on notice to not decide the series.

Cavs would've won last night anyway, but the reffing was downright atrocious.

Unless Cavs run that hot again from deep, I can't see them putting up enough of a fight. They'll go down with last year's Warriors as one of the best teams to not win a Championship.
