    Pet peeves

After reading some of the thread Riza started, it got me thinking that it might be helpful if some sp's could tell us their pet peeves. A little feed back might be helpful.

I was also struck at the estimate that 90% of her customers do not know about perb. Maybe perb could take out an ad on LL, the more members we have the better the volume of info will be. Also we could come up with a list of proper etiquette clients should follow.

It's a difficult job, to say the least. If a SP is going to read reviews, she better be thick skinned and expect both sides of the coin.

I think the % estimate for knowing Perb will depend on the provider. The higher end the provider, the less likely they are to know about Perb imo. But if they say 90% then it's probably a good guess for that provider(s)?

Just a note regarding the percentage of clients who are supposely completely unaware of review forums: I know for a fact there are members of this forum who will plead ignorance about being a member because they don't want the ladies to be able to know who they are by handle. And where does this "90%" number come from? Are these SPs supposely asking all of their clients specifically whether or not they've heard of perb? Cuz I'll tell you all a little secret... A VIP dancer at the 5 once asked me if I had ever heard of perb and since I wasn't sure why she was asking, I claimed not to know about it and ask her what it was. Or are we just assuming that because the clients don't mention the forums that they're unaware of them...?

If the client found your ad on, say LL, then I'd say that significantly increases the odds that they're also aware of perb. Whether or not they choose to participate on the forum is a different matter.

I don't know about pet peeves, but I feel all SP's prefer their clients to be clean, hygienic, and somewhat well groomed?
decently spoken, somewhat able to carry a conversation, and not just there to have "hardcore fantasy, non-stop for an hour!!" (which, you know, once in a while is nice. LOL)

Personally speaking, I always feel weird if we just jump into it.. I usually prefer a 10-15mins chat before I take my shower. On my favourites it's different though.. lol. Sometimes we jump into it.. but it's because I've already seen them for like 6-8 hours plus and we sort of got over that first hump of awkwardness of getting to know them..

I also think respect and consent is important.. If you're into kink/foot worship/being dommed/spanking/choking/hair pulling/DATY/DATO. (or whatever you're into, yer cretin!) just ask before you do it? It'd save you the embarrassment and let the SP know you respect their boundaries.

but what the hell do I know? I haven't even been doing this for two months lol...

Curious about how many pooners actually know about Perb. More than 50%? Less?

I do wonder how Riza came up with the 90% number. Do clients talk to her about Perb? Does she ask about it? I know there are a few members who try to use their clout and either get discounts or 'extras' for writing reviews.

I did this hobby for two years in Vancouver without any knowledge of review boards. I just used my head and common sense while looking at ads on LL (not BP in Van!), carefully studied the content of those ads and the SP's response to texts and phone calls. Never had a problem except the occasional mediocre service. I only discovered Perb at the end of December while living in Victoria. And in the five months I lived in that city I saw a number of SP's who were either not yet reviewed, or whose reviews I couldn't be bothered to check out before making the booking. Again, never had a problem in terms of scamming - just sometimes service that was not to my satisfaction which wouldn't be reviewed (as per my style to only review good sessions, which may change).

Back to Van: when I lived in New West I saw Reise Roberts several times. She was a short drive away and I like big, natural boobs. I knew her ad was real and she was friendly and answered promptly. Always had a good session with her, and the price for BBBJ with tongue stud and great Russian and doggy in a new, clean incall couldn't be beat. Swedish Heidi is another example of someone I saw because I liked her pics and she was polite and friendly on the phone. I didn't need to read a review to tell me to see this lady. Great session with her. And Riza: I saw her three times in 2014/2015 and remember a fit and sexy MILF and a big, spacious room at the end with a sex swing. Her CG was one of the best I had and my sessions with her were always fun. All I went by for my first booking was her nicely-worded LL ad and her pics. I think she's right that many SP clients (not a fan of the word "pooner") don't know about Perb, but it's probably closer to 60-70%.

It puzzles me why so many on this site want to get the OK from someone else to see an SP. How about TOFT yourself if you like the lady and feel the ad is real? Sessions are usually subjective and YMMV anyway. Over on the Vic 411 someone was asking about a duo ad on LL. I responded that one of the girls works at a respectable agency in town - so no possibility of scamming. That fellow stated he would TOFT and report if no one warns him to stay away. Another person also responded a few days later asking for "info". Goddamn, I would be all over that duo if I was still in town - 360 hr with two young hotties and one is an agency girl. What's the worst that could happen? There's a user who posts once in while and asks about an SP on the 411. All his posts are just him requesting info on SP's, but never a review from him. Ridiculous!

I do find reviews important now, especially with regards to scamming, and someone's positive post goes a long way. But I sometimes like to prove a negative review wrong. Someone once gave Abby of Seduction Unlimited a poor review, but I vaguely remembered good things being said about her in the past. So I booked with her, showed up clean, well-dressed, fresh breath, clean-shaven (as always) and with a friendly and positive attitude and got great service from her. Her big, natural boobs were another reason I booked. I mentioned before that polite instruction helps a lot, especially when seeing new SP's. And respect and politeness at all times.

I'm currently visiting relatives overseas after selling my home in Victoria at the end of March, and will probably move to Edmonton later in the summer.

Didn't you just describe 95% of the posters on Perb? Leeches and Lurkers? Always a promise to TOFTT and no review in sight? They sometimes show up in the 411 thread asking about an SP they've seen on a regular basis who they never reviewed but now wondered what happened to her?

But I understand why the majority don't like to post. Your favorite gal is overwhelmed with lurkers and now she's too busy and tired to see you, other reviewers will jump on you for not liking their favorite, you don't give enough info or too much, you are a shill, no one ever says thanks, you live a digital trail, yada yada yada.

No SP has ever asked me if I know about PERB, and I have never had a reason to mention it. If I were asked, I would answer truthfully, but it never comes up. So yeah, where does a statistic like x% of clients don't know about PERB come from?

Even in a couple of cases in which I used the PERB PM system to make the booking, once we were together, PERB was never mentioned. Once I'm alone with an attractive woman, talking about review boards is the farthest thing from my mind.

    Bingo.
I have rarely discussed perb with a provider. Even with ones who advertise here.
I guess if i'm paying for her time there are more important things to cover.
Am i the only one who noticed Riza is not only back in red but has paid for a banner at the top. I assumed the banner was extra money.
    Just an observation.
Sometimes one just needs to vent.
Seems to be a number of ladies in red. They must think they are getting something out of their advertising dollars.
This is still the internet. I wouldn't believe everything you read.
Also i have seen a number of BP ads with a review copy and pasted in the "photos". Others that say "well reviewed".
Its hard to imagine many aren't at least aware of review boards in this day and age. Whether they admit it or not.

Oops, look like I misread the original intention of
This thread.Kind of weird to discuss the validation and valuation of a said site, while BEING on that site.

I can say 100% of my experience and recommendations comes from this board. Often if I am truly interest in someone, i would venture to PM the reviewer and ask some related questions, if there seems to be enough of what I am looking for, I pull the trigger.

I have thought about TOFTT and do intent to do it; but a lot of the times people here are way too fast and I don't really browse LL at all... :/ so it'd be the advertisements here on the board.

Anyway, I don't know if that makes me a good or a bad kid to admit I'm "PERB board only" but here we are. Lol.

Sometimes one just needs to rant.
To post my "rant" was the reason I went back to red. I posted it in blue and didn't last 30 minutes, my bad for posting in reference to a review while in blue.
I guess I can't say how accurate my 90% is but I ask occasionally and previously often and most didn't know or said they didn't know about perb. Often I gave them the web address but asked them if they signed up not to post a review of me, at least not for 4 months and 200 posts, a new member would be considered a shrill, been there done that, not worth the aggravation.

An interesting stat if available would be the amount of "active" members there are on perb. Lets say have logged-in in the past 2 months. Not the stale accounts which I am sure there are many but active posters. (only Vancouver members) If I look at the bottom of the home page I see this.
There are currently 834 users online. 359 members and 475 guests. 834 Online, wonder out of 2.5 million people in GVR (includes Surrey, NW, Coquitlam, Burnaby etc) are pooners? I think lots more than 834 lol. Just doing some numbers in my head. Kinda refers to the 90% thing.

Once again, just my opinion and I'm not knocking PERB, it has its place and provides a needed service especially for the more informed hobbyist or newbie.

As for peeves, I got the worst ones in my "rant" lmao, I will let others write the book on that issue.

While we're on the subject of pet peeves...

Guys, what's the deal with all the tire kicking? Yesterday, I was downtown all day, & I posted here, on LL & on Twitter that I would be there. I must have received close to a dozen texts that went along these lines...

"Hey gorgeous! I have heard how great your BJ is & I would love to see you today. Are you downtown?"

"I sure am! I am available between noon & 6 pm downtown near (cross streets)"

    (Commence radio silence...)

Is it the hours that don't work for you? The location? WHAT is it? Why suddenly go dark? How difficult is it to say "Next time then..." To those of you who CAN finish an inquiry properly, I'll see you when I come back from Victoria!

I was %100 reliant of Perb when I decided to re-enter the playground after 10 years away
Because of the feedback and suggestions to me I have been very happy
With the ladies I met. One note. I only texted a ladie if I was serious
After doing my research on who may be right for me
Only once did I enquire and not fullfill as the lady
Had to cancel last minute and I never had the
    Chance to try again.
