OK, here is the story. My friend is moving to Vancouver in a week. She is married, I'm married. She can't host, I can't host. She wants me to find a room for 3-4 hours once a week to have sex with her. Nothing fancy: just clean, big bed and shower.

You may think hotels is an obvious solution? Well, think again... There are no hotels in Metro Vancouver which would offer "day use" rates, except a few hotels next to YVR. But those are quite pricey, "day use" or not. And the reason why they have "day use" rates is due to some demand from YVR passengers with long layovers. Strange? Bizzare? Kind of, considering that 99% of hotels in Europe and all non-European countries I've been to do have "day use" rates. And not for airline passengers - they actually cater to people who want to have discreet sex (e.g. cheating husbands / wives, dating couples). The demand is huge: hotels in good locations may have quite a few "day use" walk-ins a day. It's profitable: hotels like it (rooms can be re-used at night) , their guests like it too. Rates are affordable as rooms are typically rented out for 4-5 hours max.

What the fuck is going on in Metro Vancouver? No demand? People don't haves sex outside of marriage? Or they would rather abstain from sex and save a few bucks? Hotel managers are stupid? What is it? It blows my mind! Is there any option to pay just for a few hours rather than full overnight rate? Hotels, motels, condos, airbnb, anything? I would not care that much about the price if it were a one time thing, but I will likely need it on a weekly basis for a very extended period.

Any ideas? I'm willing to go as far as Langley / Abbotsford / Mission. Any info is appreciated.

Interesting choice of nickname. That means "pimp", right.

AirBNB is the way to go. Get a suite. You could probably find a spacious one anywhere from $100 and up depending on location.
