I can understand the use of them for people wanting their own privacy and also not wanting to be caught with another phone. But I myself don't use them seeing as I'm single. I get why people use them but I notice the ladies who advertise with app numbers I wouldn't see myself personally. Just feels sketchy. That's just my opinion tho

I am married but do not use an app...any text or phone
Call history is immediately deleted....I do have
One number I get texts from so I have associated my brothers name to that
Number and only a short vibration for notification
....no issues at all so far....but it helps that the lady texting me
Is also very careful to send a vanilla msg first and if I answer she knows it's good if it's
A vanilla answer nothing more is said

Never used an app#. I totally understand if SPs block them.

I rate a separate phone as the best option, followed by a 2nd SIM on the same phone, followed by maybe using a personal unlisted number for trusted contacts. Even if trusted, some friends ran into unpleasant situations due to SPs being not careful with their phones. Better use caution.

Maybe US visitors feel the need for app#s if their normal hobby phone does not work in Canada.

Separate burner phone for this hobby. it stays at my work, locked in the drawer. Costs me about $100 every six months or so.

I have never used an APP, wouldn't even know how to use it.
If you don't want me talking, just shove your boobs in my mouth.

Nothing like sneaking around, huh? It's the best for one's health and well-being.

True Caller or Trap Call will tell you if the call is from a telco or application, both also check against a database of phone numbers flagged by users. So, if you phone SP "A" and she flags you, SP "B" will be informed of the flag if she has True Caller or Trap Call running when you phone.

You can keep a Telus prepaid phone alive for $10/month which gets applied against service subscriptions. So you could pay $10, apply $5 to the 250 text pack and use the remaining $5 for minutes.

Burner phone apps are the bomb and I've been using mine for close to 2 years now. Where else can you get a dedicated 2nd local # with unlimited texts & voice calls and a mailbox for a little over $5/month? No need to lug around a shitty second phone looking like a street dealer and my burner app is locked with a thumbprint and separate passcode. And sure, some of the jaded vets and pros may know it's an app # and dismiss my inquiries and that's all for the better really. I'm not interested in these types anyway.

It's hardly jaded. It's about safety, security, and idiots who no show, book fake apts, etc.

I'll allow them if someone has other screening methods to back them up. I understand the convenience and such but it's not going to be the primary point of contact for booking, normally.

Please explain how someone who books with a burner phone bought from a convenience store provides you with safety, security, and idiots who no show, book fake apts, etc.

Speak of the devil lol. I fail to see how someone using an app # instead of a dedicated burner phone is more likely to no show, book fake appointments and is more detrimental to an escort's safety and security.

I can explain. A new SIM card costs at least $10, and you need to add some money to the account. Once the # is on some blacklist(s), it has a limited use.

A new app# costs nothing. One can repeatedly harass the same SP by changing the numbers.

All those abusers are very very cheap and won't go for even a small extra expense.
