I am well aware that the less than reputable working women use stolen pics of others.
But have you ever been looking at a photo of someone who you know well, and thought to yourself that doesn't look like him/her?
I recently got a photo texted to me by my best friend of 25 years.
It didn't look at all like them, so i asked and was assured it was a selfie.
Just curious if others have experienced this?

It depends on their phone settings. You can set it up to automatically flip a selfie or not. If they don't have this feature turned on, the image you get is a flipped image (in other words, the image that THEY would see when looking in a mirror - not the image you see when you interact with them in person). Nobody's face is symmetrical - we have things like one pointier eyebrow, a lop-sided smile, or a side part in the hair, so that's why selfie images of other people can look so weird to us.

I have not played with the filters or effects in my phone so wasn't aware of all this.
It just amazes me how pictures of the same person can look so different is all.
