Check your closet..:)
Changes to Canada's drunk driving laws will give police sweeping powers, warn legal experts.

If Canada's new impaired driving laws are passed police could show up on your doorstep — up to two hours after you arrive home — to demand a breath or saliva sample.

Monty Robinson got away with his second killing that way.

Said he was so upset about killing someone after drinking and driving he had to run home and drink some vodka to calm his nerves.

Of course they won't be able to tell when any alcohol or thc was consumed.

Varies now
You don't need to drink anything, just mention that you did is enough to invalidate any BA or BAT.

I see a Supreme Court Challenge by someone swept up by this ridiculous legislation.

I doubt it will pass the Commons let alone the Senate.

. . . . because police will no longer require "reasonable suspicion" before demanding a breath or saliva sample.

That won't fly in court because there is case law on similar incidents.
You could easily have a drink with in that 2 hrs that you are at home .

Police are always going on fishing expeditions. My advice say nothing.
Give them the sample if they have a warrant.
Judges are not usually stupid.
If it actually gets to a court room, judge sees the time lapse and finds you not guilty.
You are not obligated to say anything to any cop.
They ask questions.
You should remain silent.
No warrant, they can't come into your house or get a sample.
let people think whatever they choose to think.
But unless you help them out its nearly impossible for them to gather enough evidence to get a conviction.
Smart people play stupid and say nothing.
The loud mouth idiot ranting about stuff they usually know little to nothing about are actually the dumb ones.
Play stupid, but don't be stupid.
While they maybe go try to get a warrant pour a drink and enjoy it. Take a selfie and text it to your buddy of you drinking.
End of case.
