What internet provider do you use?

Looking for a new provider as my current provider and their equipment have been less than wonderful and quite expensive.

I used to be with Telus but their modem had to be reset every few days. The second reason why I left them was the contract. They want you to lock you for two (or is it three?) years term. When I left them and returned the equipment, they still charged me hundreds of dollar because someone did not record the return. Took me a few months of numerous (and VERY long) phone calls to get my money back.

I am with Shaw now for both home phone, TV and internet. I don't really have much to complain. If there is any complaint, it is with Telus again. They put in new optic cables in our area and now once every few weeks, we have someone knocking on our front door trying to get us switch back to Telus.

At work we have Shaw as well, but we also have Telus as overflow lines. So when we had that Canada wide outage two days ago, our phones kept ringing, but we could not call out!!

So to answer your question, I am with Shaw and pretty happy with them.

I use Lightspeed, which uses Shaw cable. Good price, decent service.

Thank you, everyone. Having a lot of trouble with Shaw. Telus was a nightmare.

    I appreciate your help.
