Identifying a Telephone Prefix

I cannot guarantee the accuracy of this & it is possible to spoof an phone number... but this is a chart that shows Canadian phone prefixes by area code. A prefix is the part of the phone number that comes after the area code eg 604-***. The *** is the prefix. They are assigned to specific carriers. Again, you can spoof numbers but this may be off assistance.

WOW thanks sooo much Warlock!!! You are truly an asset to the forum :) don't ever go please pretty please :love_heart:

There is a way from using white pages and it will tell you, but this seems so much faster and easier, whitepages and google etc takes forever to load and go from each page.

You are welcome. There will be more coming with regards to cyber security and sex worker safety. If you get a number and it looks legit but you think it's spoofed, just tell them let me call you back. If you gets a fast busy it was a spoofed call. Not perfect but better than nothing.
