He likes the attention and prestige of being president.

But he is a lazy spoiled asshole so he doesn't want to do any of the work.

I don't think he is trying to do a good job. He isn't reading his notes or the bills he signs. He doesn't pay attention in his briefings. He just wants to get a helicopter ride to the golf course. Paid by the taxpayers obviously. Apparently his course in Florida jacked up their room rates after he became president. So every time he goes to Mar a Logo he makes a fortune off his entourage.

Throwing paper towels was perfectly logical. . They are soft and will not hurt anyone when thrown and they are useful. If you are cleaning a mess you need paper towels. And it is a mess in Puerto Rico. Bounty signifies quality they did not go cheap. They obviously care deeply.

for each month he is representing the office of POTUS, it will take the country a decade to regain there status on the world stage.... quickly becoming laughing stock in the world !! your fired should never have been hired....
