Went to get tested for the first time last week...still waiting for the results. However, I did go due to a kinda pimple/blister growth on the lower part of my shaft. I thought it might be herpes or warts so I went to get tested (plus it was about time). So I called and booked an appointment and arrived on time, only to wait about 30 minutes before being escorted to one of the many rooms. This older white woman proceeded to ask me questions about my preferences to how many partners I had been with. After about 10 minutes of chit chat, she asked me to stand on this little stool only to drop my pants as she inspected my cold penis and shaved balls. She looked very closely and said I looked "clean" and the blister/pimple was not herpes. Thank God...although she could still be wrong. Next came out this long needle stick with come cotton at the end about 3/4" long and a little thicker than a toothpick. SHe requested that I put my hands on my hips and said it might burn a bit. MY GOD! The pain shot up my spine and I screamed in pain! I reached for my dick without looking down and still screaming and she said "Wait Wait, almost done!" My GOD! The pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next I was asked to pee in a little bottle which wasn't easy due to the burning session in my dick from the probing. After than, two tubes full of blood was taken and I told her sex wasn't worth it! She laughed and said everyone says that!

Is it?

I'm beginning to think it isn't!

It's expensive
It's timely to book an appointment with an sp
It could be dangerous
You could catch disease quite easily

Hamster, been there, done that! It's hard to explain if you haven't gone through it. A year or so ago they used to do it TWICE!!! Makes me cringe and whimper to think about it. The call of pooning is pretty strong after while.
I hope all is well with your parts.
Cheers

re: Swizzle sticks and all that stuff....

Hey Hamster...

Now that is what I call taking one for the team.

Let's talk about reallity here for a minute, and the real potential cost of indulging in this hobby.

A cotton tipped swizzle stick stuck in your pee hole, some blood tests which might make the strongest men pass out, peeing in a cup which hurts like hell after the swizzle stick routine...so you want an AIDS test with that???...how about our special this week on sipholous (did I spell that right??)...free horse pills to combat a growing outbreak in Vancouver. But don't panic.

Yes boys...that's the reality of the whole thing. Think about it. And once you have dropped your drawers and talked about all the silly things you have done, then you wait for the results. And who are you putting at risk in the mean time if you refuse to ignore some infrequent symptoms that make you itch and sometimes burn or some sore that comes and goes on your lip or other parts ???

Is it worth the money??

Well IMHO, if you are playing this game, do what Hamster did. And do it on a regular basis. And make sure you be honest with yourself and the fine staff at the cliinic on 12th Avenue. Well worth the visit. And lots of information available in the waiting area while you are waiting for the nurse to see you. Read it and learn something.

I like their magazine selection as well.

Sincerely,
bobsled.

2Cums be honest

2Cums be honest and tell the ladies at the bar that you love pumping Sp's and they'll wrap your cock up with so many condoms, you won't feel a thing!

LOL

Some tests are back!

Vaccines are available for :

(Spelling?)

Gonnerrea
Syphilis
Clamydia

This is what the swab test is for I believe. Got results this morning...negative for everything. They aren't that serious since all are currable.

Dating versus hobbying

In one of my first sessions, Morgan noted to me that she thought working as an escort was "safer than dating" for the lady. The numbers Kahuna mentioned suggest that being a hobbiest is also considerably safer than picking up highly active bar babes who may be indifferent about or not ready to push safety.

Win-win.

The only drawback is the hobbiest has to pay, but as many have said here, you pay in other ways for longer term relationships.

Either dating or hobbying is much safer health-wise north of the border than south, because of their lack of universal health care. The rates of STD's in ther US may be 10 times the rates here, particularly among late teenagers.

Just another reason why I am now a proud Canadian after growing up in the US.

that has to be truly the dumbest thing any one has ever said. Maybe were happy that you moved north of the border Lee. I started to laugh thinking no one can be that anti-american saying that the reason for stds is because of universal health care. A good provider is going to take care of business no matter where she lives. and no matter the cost because she is making bank. And a good provider will always be safe no matter where she lives.

As a p.s. canadien health care is so good that they send there major heart patients down south.

Bar Chicks Are Safer?

Give me a break! Bar chicks are more risky than an SP? SOme bar chicks only put out to one or two guys a year. The average SP probably has 200 to 500 clients a year! That is just sick and when you consider that 1 in 5 people has herpes, the odds are you will catch or already have something.

Give your head a shake!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i go to the review boards for info cause i do split my time between seattle and the great white north as far as my hobby is concerned and the one thing the trb has over perb is that they seem to have more reviews so better info for the hobbiest

Hey dittman,

Boy am I humbled by being called dumb by a charming, literate guy like you.

If you think that there is no connection between lack of universal health care and high rates of std's, then gee, tell us more so we can all learn from your wisdom.

If someone mentions they prefer Canada over the US, they're not trying to insult you. They really feel that way. It's not personal.
