Contact Information – how long should it be kept?

How long do you think an sp should keep your phone number or email information?

I use a separate “Porscha” cell and delete text messages after I see someone. Emails get deleted at least every month. If I get a PM I keep that longer. When I started, I was told this was a good way to keep “me” safe. Less evidence, less chance of proving my occupation. With technology, its so easy to gather information. I know that a contact management system would make it easier - but for me the most discrete way is to delete it all & let you contact me.

What are your expectations?

I keep a separate "Avery" phone and use one of two dedicated "Avery" e-mail addresses for this hobby, so I suppose it doesn't matter much to me. However, I'm still irritated when SPs contact me to troll for business.

Most SPs swear up and down that they don't keep contact info on their clients after a session is completed, but I've never believed that. Many pooners are too dumb or too cheap to keep a separate phone, so SPs who keep contact info might be putting their clients at risk of exposure if they (SPs) initiate contact.

I don't think sp's should be keeping any contact info of there clients. I to have a separate phone for this hobby and have been contacted 5-6 times in the past year from sp's trolling for business. The latest being the a group promoting the Asian ladies coming to the city.

I'm with Avery on this as I have believed the same thing! I also agree with ATM that contact info should not be kept. I know sometimes it's nice to see a familiar name popup when contact is being made, however at the end of the day i believe the only info being kept by SP's should be the bad date or "do not fly" list for the SP's couldn't resist throwing that in lol

Really I also have a separate phone which is usually shut off. But I don't care if they call or text me on it. I actually like it, that's when the best deals are made she's not busy so she'll extent time or discount the fee. I also like when I call them and they answer with your name cause its in their contacts, eg. Hi Ed how are you today, if they delete it you end up trying to explain to them who you are for 10 minutes. That just gets awkward when she describes 20 guys and none of them are you. No deals there if they don't have a clue who you are and you won't be getting those texts about the big weekday sales their having.

Of all the sp's I've seen I would say 90 percent keep you number and name in their phone. I've had a sp answer her phone while sitting beside me I looked at it there was a name and it also said good guy under it. So ya they keep track of us and our performance lol. Mostly our reliability performance but also any out of norm requests. If you don't have a play phone your asking for trouble 48 dollars at Walmart small price to pay for stress free pooning.

I love the sp's that email a pooner and cc her contact list after telling you she keeps no records or contact info. I also use an email address that doesn't have anything to do with my name. So every once in awhile when an sp makes a mistake an cc's her contact list that she's not keeping it's not as big of a deal as some others who are using there name in there email address.

Haha that's too funny is there actually someone that stupid to use their real email address. I mean it does take 5 minutes to make a fake one. I have 10 of them my biggest problem is remembering them without writing them down. That is so funny she clicks send all and your real name and email are on there. Oh that reminds me a year ago I seen a new ad it was email only so I emailed it. Sent a few emails back and forth then sent her my number, she phones and I answer it saying to her is this D... that I've been emailing. She says how did you know my real name I tell her it showed up on her email. She freaks says her friend made it for her she's computer illiterate and has to get it changed. First and last name some people don't know how to lie. Met with her anyway very good time, think she quit after a week only needed rent money.

The same guy who uses his real email would probably use his real name on here. So you know what I'm thinking, that is the real Jethro Bodine on here I knew it.

I remember that happening a couple of years ago. I, along with a whole bunch of other pooners, got an email from a lady and everyone's contact showed up.
Wasn't a problem for me as my pooning email is AveryinWinnipeg (LOL) but I was amazed at how many addy's I could tell were the dude's real email. Could have been a problem for many if that list had fallen into the hands of some nosey reporter or their wife knew their password.

These are the little things guy's don't think about when entering into this hobby. When the GF was still working many of the guy's who where just looking for info would use there real email address or there work email address.

And none of them where Katz or Richardson, or even Asper.

I got that email, and I recognized a name on the list, as someone my wife used to work with. I'm sure the dude was mortified.

Funny that this thread started up. I just got a text from an SP I saw in Calgary almost two years ago! Dedicated phone, and email account - that's the best way to handle the unexpected.

Hey pythagorus,

Funny you should show up.
My daughter's teacher in her advanced calculus class gave her an extra credit assignment in which to prove that in any right angled triangle, a(2) + b(2) does not always = c(2), where c is the length of the hypotenuse and a and b are the lengths of the other 2 sides.
Your going down! ;)

So. it was you who impersonated me a few years ago! Once I was able to convince all those doubting ladies that I was the real Avery, they all told me the impostor had a microdick. ;)
