I think the kid is trying. He has done some other things which are very positive. But once someone acquires "star" status, he/she is surrounded by by managers, publicists and other hanger-ons in their entourage who blow smoke up his ass. They become isolated from the rest of society. I'm also betting that because he became a star so early, his his high school history education is non-existent and he probably does not realize the significance of Ann Frank. Sometimes the "Stars" become casualties of the system as well.

I have actually been to the Anne Frank house. Its hard to believe he spent an entire hour there, then came up with that shit.
Its a very serious and sober place to be.
I was there with friends, and we were all teary.
I guess he was using his iPhone the entire hour, and never bothered to absorb anything.

Why couldn't this little shit have been American?

What do you expect from some one 19 years old with all the money and fame he has.

I sure as hell couldn't handle it when I was young.
Im not sure I could handle it now. All the money in the world to do what ever I want. It wouldn't be a pretty sight I tell you.

I think its kind of stupid thing to do give some one unlimited amounts of money and fame, very few people handle in gracefully, a lot just survive it, and a few it destroys them.
I think in terms of money its better just to be comfortable not enough that you can go crazy with. My opinion any way.

I saw the thread title and thought I might be getting reviewed by an SP I saw the other day...I was pretty disappointed to find out it was actually about that other Justin guy.

.....then I would have added "out" to the title..................:D :p

Well normally, I'm all for doing unto the biebs everything short of pushing him head first into a wood chipper (Feet first fellows! Always feet first). But in this case, he was just wishing that Anne Frank had had a normal childhood. It's not like he broke out & sang his rendition of Frank Zappa's "Jewish Princess" on the steps of the house... That would probably have had a Mossad death squad buying tickets to his next show.

I'm with Peace here. I thought his quote was showing Anne some well-deserved respect. And normally, I would have no qualms about Bieb going head-first.

I'm convinced he knows exactly what he's doing, he just likes the press, be it bad or good....
