I am mostly a lurker and have never used an sp myself ( lack of that kind of entertainment budget income ) but still window shop like alot of people do with luxury items. There is a lot of negativity thrown at sp's and I though they might appreciate knowing that they do have support sometimes in the strangest places. On a company's game thread a poster showed support for escorts in general while defending his favorite character from that game.

While I am hear I am just curious about all the different avenues one can use to make contact with an sp , agency, parlor, independents etc. Independents seem the "best choice" simply because with agency's and parlors you have to go though a "middle person" who I am assuming also gets a share and regulates the sp in some way ( they watch "the clock more" , it could be more expensive ..to offset share amount etc etc ) to deem how much the "share" is but obviously they are popular or would not exist .
My question is simply one of basic consumerism ... why would anyone buy any "product/service" though a middle person when they can the same thing easier and more cost effective directly.
