"An Overview of the Vancouver p4p Scene."

11-27-12

I grew up and live in Vancouver and have been here for many years.

If you live here then you should be more or less familiar with the scene. If you are a visitor or planning to visit and interested in getting some p4p action then I can provide you with the following advice:

Legality:

First of all, prostitution is legal in Canada (unlike the US) but many of the activities surrounding the trade (such as running a brothel, soliciting on the street, advertising, living of the avails, etc) are NOT legal, although the courts in Ontario have recently disputed this and stuck down some of these laws.

The Scene:

Street prostitution is usually reserved for the very low-scale, those girls that can't host for some reason. Mostly druggies. Those who can't or don't know how to use the internet to advertise, etc.

Mostly, it is done in condos that the service providers (SPs) rent out especially for this purpose (although some of them live there as well.) The easiest and best way to set up a meeting is getting a number through one of the websites where they advertise, just Google "Vancouver escort". It used to be all on Craigslist but after the ban, they seem to be using other websites where they post ads. There is also the Georgia Straight weekly newspaper, the back pages. Another scene is the massage parlors that serve basically as a cover for a brothel in disguise. Still another is a phone operation where they will send you an "escort".

Types of Service Providers and Prices:

From cheapest to most expensive the list goes like this:

- Street Workers in DTES (Downtown East Side. Which is basically skid row in Vancouver, a few blocks of drug-invested mayhem. Prices are $20-$40 for BJ (CBJ or BBBJ) to $50-$80 for full service plus sometimes room cost.)

- Other Street Workers in surrounding areas like Burnaby.

- Asian Massage Parlors.

- Asian "Micros" (These are basically mini brothels with maybe 2-5 girls working there, usually in a pretty upscale condo in a high-rise. The bottom price is $120 for 45 mins for full service (BBBJ, DFK. 69, etc) for a 20s to late 30s Chinese lady haha, to about $160/45for a nice, spinner Korean hottie.)

- Private Providers in the suburbs like Surrey (anywhere from $120-$150 for an half hour (hh) with a white or mixed girl, but sometimes 45-60 mins for that price.)

- Private Providers Downtown ($150-$200 / hh and $200-$250 / hour for usually an average to better looking Caucasian SP.)

- Upscale Super Providers Downtown (these superstar girls charge sometimes $240 to $300 for an hour with rates seen as high as $300-$400 per hour for all inclusive.)

Areas:

Downtown Vancouver is where an out of town visitor would most likely stay. In this area, Yaletown stands out as having the highest concentration of private service providers. There are some street walkers on Seymour and Richards streets, mostly on weekends but maybe weekdays too. They charge exorbitant rates, sometimes $200-400 per hour depending on how drunk you seem to be. LOL I would not recommend that route as it will be $100+ more than using one of the online ads.

DTES is just to the east of the downtown core. You would want to drive there, not walk.

Otherwise, it's pretty spread out. A lot of Asian (and other)"micros" and condos with 2-4 girls providing a service are concentrated in the Metrotown area, Joyce skytrain station, Richmond (downtown) , Guilford in Surrey.

That's pretty much all you need to know to get started. Please reply if I missed anything or you would like to add something.

Some ideas i would like to share with new hobbyists:

* this hobby can be addictive so practice restraint; i have other interests to pull me away.
* i mentioned this before; carry a list of SP numbers just in case someone decides to pull a no show.
* if your session was a disappointment, don't take it personally it happens to everyone - just move on to the next lady.

I wish i had the above lenny's thread basic guide when i started out, save me some time/money/headaches.

Maybe the Mods might consider making this a permanent sticky at the top of the Lounge forum.

Blatant plagiariam, atleast give credit to the author whhere you copied this from.
That is a clueless comment. Here is what the word means:

"Plagiarism is the "wrongful appropriation" and "purloining and publication" of another author's "language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions," and the representation of them as one's own original work.[1][2]"

Real mature with the name calling buddy. Nowhere in your post do I see the original link or the authors name, to me that is plagarism where credit is not given where due.

Call it what you like, sorry to bruise your ego.

Carry on....

What is important is not what the word means "to you" or you imagine it to mean in your wet dreams, but rather what it actually means.

As for the "authors name", it is not known, as all we are aware of is an anonymous online forum posting handle.

I could have "given credit" to this anonymous unknown figure, but why bother? BTW anyone with basic computer skills could probably look it up in a couple minutes. Also competing forums often prefer you don't advertize their competitors.

Because he has a habit of quoting selectively from articles in order to support his bbfs agenda. And the majority of the posters in this thread are aware of his history and annoyed by it lol.

At least he put the copy/pasted article in a quote box. Even with a link, there are some who don't do that, i guess meaning to give the impression that the comments are their own, then you find out at the bottom that isn't the case. Kind of misleading. Whether or deliberate or not, who knows, but the quote feature is pretty easy to use.

I guess he could have made a general reference that he found it somewhere. But this is not the New York Times or the Washington Post, so footnotes and a bibliography shouldn't be necessary. This is a casual, fun, recreational discussion forum.

Under the Georgia Viaduct
Another word of advice. When someone on the board says that a location has too much attention and could be a target of LE, then take their advice. Recently I got shuttled out the back door while the LE were coming in the front on a location that pointed out on the board for this. Amazing feeling walking down the alley away from the problems and getting away with it, but I don't want to make it a habit. I already have one of those.
