...The biggest surprise of my life so far......

( drumroll )

Pregnant!

I have been told that I'm unlikely to have a pregnancy.
I had to accept that being a parent just wasn't in the cards for me.
But although the odds were slim they were in favour of this...

Before Christmas, I noticed that a few physical changes....so I did a home test.
( the instructions said to wait three min for results, my positive result appeared instantly! )
That's right about the time I got very sick by a badass flu bug that kept me down for almost a month.
Finally I got better, and have since been to get an ultrasound and under care of an obstetrician.

I've been waiting for the first trimester to pass before telling everyone.
( I'm a bit superstitious )
Now I'm starting the second trimester. I feel like I want to announce my big surprise!
I'm very happy and so excited.

Everyone has been faced with the unexpected...
Surprise stuff can come at you from left field at any moment.
What are some of the best life changing events have occurred in your lives?

Congrats girl.... I,m experienced as i made 3 of them :) , sex gets really good near the end....nothing like riding the HUMP , and getting a drink of rich mothers milk as a midnight snack.

Wow!!! Happy shocker Jxxx. I actually wept on my iphone when I read your post. Happy tears of joy--we need so much of this. Sometimes we are unworthy; but sometimes we are totally worthy.

Heh, if he's a boy, I guess you have to call him something like BillXYXYXY, and if she's a girl, I guess you go with something like BrittanyXX. Haha--not too often one gets the chance for a DNA joke. Oh well, better than naming him/her Puntmeister.

Congrats Jess!!! Word of advice: If you have a boy and are looking for names DON'T name him Sue. I heard somewhere that name can be quite problematic for a guy :p
