    I miss you Bob

    Dear Bob,

It's been a long time since I've seen you.

When we last spoke you were having health problems. I have since reflected on that conversation and realized you may have been down playing how severe it was.

The email address I have for you doesn't work anymore and I fear the worst.

If you're out there, please let me know you're still alive. I don't want your money, I just miss you.

For those who are not Bob and find this post strange, oh well. You're reading Perb because you're bored anyway. Bob was a regular client for a very long time. I don't think he ever knew that I cared about him. If money or health problems are preventing him from contacting me I would still like to hear from him. This 'business' is funny. Sometimes the lines between client and friend get fuzzy.

Very true... but it is something that I would say could be expected considering how personal this business is... I am sure there are some out there that never blur the lines and I applaud them, for some it is hard not to have the lines blur on occasion....

I don't find this post "strange" in the slightest, but rather refreshing in its humanity. As a single man and determined to stay that way, I am forever asking myself...how will I prevent myself from falling in love with x? Fortunately I have neither excess money nor an overage of looks to worry about, so my x's are not frequent.

Still and all, they happen and I find that the less intimate I am, the better off my soul will be in the longer run. I have "slept" with two people over the past 6 months, each a random meet. The key word there being "slept". I offered to take the couch, they said "there's plenty of room in the bed"....so I joined them gratefully.....spooned....and slept. That, was the extent of it and it made for a much better morning. I cook up a nice breakfast, and walk them out to their vehicle....it's the gentlemanly thing to do.

En garde!?....you bet. While I will swizzel a sword with anyone, I will save dipping my chips for the flavour I can see enjoying down the road a wee bit. This is beginning to make zero sense and is just another rambling hijack...sorry. Bedtime.

    kindest,

    eddie.

p.s....I hope you are well Bob, and that you read Miss T's post, and you find a smile crossing your face. But, most of all, I hope you are well.

    Good on you Ms.T

Refreshing to hear in a world so busy with one desire of cash.....if Bob passed maybe that bit of compassion will be the refreshment of his choice
