Hi HN,

the "BBBJ and Risk" is a good one, that helps me a lot to understand the facts so to determine what to do.

here is another question about "Greek and the risk", I found most of the SPs don't do greek, wondering why. is there high risk of transmitting STD? compare with bbbj, greek is covered, imo this should be safer, but in reality there're far more bbbj than greek.

as always, thank you so much for clearing out our questions, we're so lucky to have you here!

Hi bohu

I am glad that you have found “BBBJ and risk” helpful.

It is an interesting question comparing the STI risk of a BBBJ (oral sex without a condom) with covered greek (anal sex with a condom). It would make sense that you would have more protection with covered greek from infections like chlamydia, gonorrhea and HIV. The condom would offer really good protection.

I think all people have different comfort levels around sex. Here are some of the reasons I have heard why people do not have anal sex.

(1) As the receptive person you would have good protection against HIV as long as the condom remains intact. All you need is a broken condom and you are in the high risk category.

(2) Personal preference; many people do not like the feel or the idea of anal sex.

(3) Trust; there is always the potential of physical damage as the receptive person if the giver is not careful. You need lots of lube and good communication.

If the woman would like to comment on the question “I found most of the SPs don’t do greek. Wondering why”? Feel free to place a comment of why you personally don’t offer it.

I don't offer it for several reasons.

The first being it REALLY hurts me. Some people are not build to accommodate a penis of even small size and no amount of lube or trust will over come anatomy. Fissures REALLY hurt.

Even if one were to "rinse" (use an enema) it does not kill all of the dangerous bacteria and don't want to risk cross contaminating other areas we may end up touching. Example: You have anal. You finish. You pull out. You take the condom off with your hand. You put the condom in a tissue and discard it, but in the mean time you may have touched the bedding or another part of your anatomy, or a surface, which may be touched again and may lead to someone acquiring an E Coli infection. I had one years ago and I was so sick I not only thought I'd die, I wanted to die. It's agonizingly painful. And I got it from a partner who was careless about clean up (it was me using a toy on him).

Some people are understandably grossed out by the thought of something up there. Some people find it makes them feel like they have to "go" which isn't a very sexy feeling. People feel a lot of shame out bodily functions. It's one thing to do something with a partner you trust who will be understanding if something funny or maybe gross happens, it's totally different if it's a total stranger, that you just met, who may well go an blab on a board about it. I've done enough strap-on play with gents to know that flatulence happens as does "santorum".... but the clients aren't being reviewed.

It's not for me, but I wish it was something I could enjoy in my personal life.

Hi Katlyn

I guess the moderators were just doing their job. The rules set down by PERB for the health forum is that “only the health nurse can answer a question”

This is not because we are the only people that know the information but more if everyone writes a response people will not know what information is correct or not.

In the above situation I thought it would be good to get SPs comments as they would be the best ones to answer the question of “I found most of the SPs don’t do greek. Wondering why?”

Thanks HN, as always!

so it seems that the risk is depands on HOW it's done, not the greek itself.

Thanks Again,

Oh I know :)

Noone should be giving medical advice unless they are trained to do so.

But was just letting you know that there had been replies to that question.

Bohu, I'm with Indy Is, I am NOT built for greek :D
