So I bought a new MP3/video player. How do I put videos on it? Can I just copy from CD onto the device? Is it that easy?

It depends on the player. Some players use a "non-standard" codec and some just require you to copy the video to the player. That being said because most players use and odd resolution you usually end up re-encoding video's for the player.

Its a Sansa Fuze - even the Sansa website is not clear on what you have to do to put video on the player..

You can find the information in the faq section on the Sandisk website. apparently there is a media converter software that comes with your player that will convert various formats to the format that the Fuze accepts.
