I would just recommend that you go visit your family doctor in regard to the cramping of the feet.

Jock itch is a common fungal infection caused by tinea cruris.

The main advice I can give for this is that you need to treat the fungal infection of the foot and the groin at the same time. You also need to follow the direction on the medication and keep treating the area for the time indicated even if it starts to get better. This is usually 2 weeks. If things are not improving by then go see your doctor as they may need to prescribe a stronger medication.

It is essential to keep the area clean and dry.

Use a separate towel to dry the feet and another one to dry the groin and do not use these on other parts of the body.

Change your underwear and socks everyday.


The best way to prevent jock itch is to bathe daily and to keep the area as dry as possible.

Avoid sharing towels.
