...but, never to the point where i was willing to wear a public mark. Actually, i should and will modify that. i have never been owned to the point where i have been "willing" to wear a public mark. Said mark is not exactly prevalent but it's not deniable. i remember making a post about "wondering how many of y'all shared what ya did with those around you"...and it died quickly. Other than a very few, i suspect most hold D/s as a closet issue....*not that there's anything wrong with that*....

i did some maintenance for my kid's mom today...she asked...."what's with the chain?"...legitimate question. i deferred...demurred...and just got busy with finishing the job. i didn't say...i am collared and i expect it to lead to very good things. For that, i feel bad....but, not really. Sad as it is, i haven't had a good discussion with the ex about the joys of D/s....so, she is unlikely to understand. i deflected and demurred. Her business and my business are the same...raise competent kids. For the most part, that job is well done on both sides.

i adore You Mistress.

Lack of Understanding

Hi Eddie:
Part of what we are all dealing with is a denial by the public in general that some relationships are different from the basic GFE.
Where some hold hands, we are held down.
Where some scold others, we accept the physical punishment.
Probably in time long after I am gone from this body and this earth there will be acceptance of D/s relationships and a collar or chain will be accepted, openly displayed and undertsood.
Why bother yourself trying to explain to someone who does not understand why the chain is important to you. The greatest thing is that you know its importance and your Mistress knows its importance and you both understand your relationship. Enjoy my friend.

Cteeboy is wholeheartedly correct. The meaning is for us alone.

At my favourite club, there is a young fine gentleman who serves and cleans up bottles. He wears a chain and lock upon his neck. Most assume it is alternative jewellry. When I saw it and we were alone, I asked "Who is your Mistress?" His eyes lit up with secret pride and he quietly stated her name.

This, my pet, is the point. You know and only those who understand will know. It is your hot little secret.
