Maybe it's just me, but I find it a bit of a PIA to navigate the stdresource.com website. For example, the symptom checker doesn't work. I may want to find out particular information about a sexual activity, say, analingus or whatever . The content and entire feel of the website looks very amateurish. In addition, the link on the main page to the BC Centre for Disease Control is invalid.
I can definitely appreciate people getting frustrated with the stdresource website very quickly and therefore, not becoming educated in STD prevention or knowing if they have an STD. I don't think visitors to the website should have to go to alternate websites, say, those in the USA where the content and information is richer, more thorough, better displaced, and complete. Even the BC centre for disease control's site on STD's is quite lame. Perhaps if the health nurse knows who is responsible for the stdresource website, she can advise them. Just my 1/2 cents.
