Hello,

I'll be heading to Edmonton in June and was wondering if anyone can recommend a hotel downtown area that does not require a key card for the elevator. I'm hoping to order plenty of "Room Service" and don't want to be bothered by going down to the lobby to meet.

Thank you!

Chateau Lacombe Crown Plaza, Coast Edmonton House, The Matrix, Delta Centre Suite, Days Inn, Alberta Suite and Comfort Inn.

Places with second floor meeting areas Sutton Place, The Westin, Coast Edmonton Plaza. These require key-cards.

Scratch Edmonton House off your list. One of my favorite visiting SPs has stayed there and you need a card key just to get beyond the lobby.

Delta Edmonton Centre also needs a key card. The Hotel Macdonald does not require key card access for the main floors (I think the Royal Suite floor needs a key).
