Kittie, if you are having laprascopic ...
you will be amazed by the lack of pain and short receovery period. I had mine removed at 9 AM, went home at 5 PM and worked the next day at noon from home. Never had to take any painkillers and by Friday I was at the office and was attending meetings.

I had mine removed and I was in pain after for about 2 days because of the air they put in you for the surgery!! They only put 3 little holes in you that do not leave much scaring..Just dont push yourself everyone is dif. But lets hope you are like Trawler and can be back on your feet the next day good luck.

yeah its supposed to be lap, with a total of 4 small incisions, I *may* need a large one he said...won't know till he gets in me.
But I am hoping for a fast recovery!!! My landlord evicted me and I have to be gone the day before surgery!! GRRR!!! (I am doggiesitting for Gabrielle and someone complained) So I need to be ready to rock work asap after surgery, and deal with the joys of unpacking and setting up a new place!!
