...this is, after all, a review site and meant to generate interest and business for the hard working Mistresses. I have humblers to paint and urethane anyway....
My question here is....and I do very much enjoy the topics that erupt here from time to time and the responses to them. But....the world of BDSM is slightly "off colour" and a little bit "taboo". I kinda liken it to the world of "porn" before the internet. Everyone is interested, but few would admit it. Now the internet's number one business is, of course, porn. Nothing more comforting than enjoying your private pleasures in...well...private. That's not my thinking, that's just obvious.
So, I am sure there are studies, polls, whatever....about interest in the gentle art of "being tied up"...."denied motion"...."teased"....that will appeal to lovers the world over. Guess what, it has a name. But the name is taboo and conjures images of freaks in black leather. Oh well, no biggie.
To the point. Who do you discuss stuff with? I love this forum for it's openness....but being anonymous kinda sux. Look at the Mistresses here....they are hardly anonymous. They will surely run into people that have "seen" them from here or elsewhere. And, that takes some eggs. Or, does it? I suppose once you decide to live a lifestyle, what difference? Be pleased and proud of what you do...I surely know that the best people I know are exactly of that mindset.
I was invited and gratefully accepted the invitation to join the local BDSM community but I have let that fade away. I met one kinda cool sub during a weekend summrtreat camping thing....but, he's obviously busy with his Mistress....so, what chance to have a beer? Besides, he lives in Calgary.
I think I just need more time...but my question stands....who do you talk to?
eddie.
